My question is: what other hypejobs got destroyed this year in boxing? PS: don't bring here guys Joyce please - he is good fighter with some really impressive wins in his resume (Parker, Dubois). Guys like him probably were somewhat overrated, but definitely not the hypejobs

I think exposed is the better word than hype jobs when looking at Wilder and Fury. Two guys who are the beginning of the year were being held up by many as the top two guys. By the end of the year, both of them have taken huge blows to their reputation. Wilder got dominated by only the third legit top ten contender he has faced, Fury nearly lost to an absolute novice. AJ’s destruction of Wallin also highlights that Fury is by no means untouchable also. A big year is needed from Fury.
