I actually doubt either markets will touch. UFC 103 is currently looking like a weak card which is probably a good way to avoid blowing off a big PPV fight and losing half your audience. I say Mayweather/Marquez does more.
Right. It'll still get a minimum of 300K buys because eventually they'll throw one of their marquee guys at the top just to guarantee a certain amount of people tuning in. I say UFC will do 350K-400K and Floyd-JMM will do about 600K to 650K. Ultimately over 1,000,000 will tune in to watch combat sports on Saturday. Mighty impressive.
We'll see. I was thinking more around the 500kish for Floyd. But as people start to realize this fight isn't as much of a mismatch as it seems maybe it can generate more.
They haven't announced the main event for UFC 103 yet... and I don't expect big numbers for PBF vs Marquez.. so it's still up in the air.
Darchinyan-Agbeko got just as many viewers as UFC 100 got in buys....I think that tells you something, without a doubt Mayweather-Marquez will get more buys around the World without a doubt, and probably more here in America as well. UFC is for ***s, and white trash.
I thought there may be more votes for 'neither' especially because of Mayweather's latest comments...
