He's not a big enough or skilled enough guy to fight at welter _ he could fight at that weight but those guys are more live ...

NO one else is marketable enough to give him the payday that he wants ...

There aren't any established fighters at 140 and 135 ...

So other than Mayweather who else is out there?

They wouldn't match that many up w/ any full fledged welterweights and I doubt if they're interested in fighting Marquez again.

Nobody below 147 other than JMM would have a good chance IMO. Also nobody would bring enough $$ in to interest him after DLH and Hatton. I've said this in other threads, lets see him take on Pavlik! :yep

He's stuck _ after Mayweather (assuming that that fight is on) then he's stuck ... he'll have to go to WW or he'll have to go back down to 140 or 135 where there aren't many marketable fighters.

I don't think PAC is avoiding any guys that are "Live". I do agree PAC is at his best at 140, but given his DOMINANCE in this sport there will be guys willing to meet PAC at a catch weight. he can beat the smaller WW's out there like Berto, Callazo, Shane and Cotto. I think Guys like Marg, Clottley and Paul Williams are just too big. But I still would give PAC a chance to be completely honest. Its just his chances diminish the bigger guys he faces who are Top level guys.

JMM 3, Valero, Soto, Juan Diaz, Nate, Zab, Bradley, etc. Pac's got plenty options, just not all mega $ ones.

Well, Arum claims that Cotto will probably be Pac's next opponent. He claims that Mayweather will probably ask for too much money and that Pac is the bigget draw. This may just be a ploy to get an upperhand in the event of any negotiations with Mayweather as Pac would probably only fight any of the welters at a catchweight. I'm not sure if it would be a good idea for Cotto to try to fighy at a catchweight below 147.

Phuck Floyd and his demands for money he does not deserve. I hope Arum shows him a big middle finger and moves Pacman to fight other fighters who trully deserve a shot.

Roach says he'll fight shane, mayweather or cotto but at a catch weight of about 143. Only mayweather can make that weight. Cotto comes down to 143 and he gets KO'd

Cotto probably would be the most logical opponent assuming he wins against Clottey.

He could fight everyone in the top ten at 140, he could fight them all in two years. I don't understand why you give a **** about multi mllionaires getting 'paydays'
