other than pacman who at 140 and 147 would give floyd the most trouble?

I picked Khan. It's probably going to take someone with very fast hand speed to catch and/or outpoint Floyd(besides a lucky shot).

Why is matching Khan vs Ortiz not mentioned much. Seems like a natural. Yes, Khan beat Ortiz as an amateur, but that was then.

Is Mike Jones not a serious contender? He probably beats most on that list, imo.

yeah if hes gonna win it isn't gonna be by decision. He needs to let it all hang out early like he did with Berto, and make sure he's got enough in the tank that he doesnt burn out.

this will def give a little inside look into a potential pac fight. Ortiz and Pac aren't any similiar stylistically, but it'll be interesitng to see how Floyd deals with an aggressive southpaw at this stage.

imo its between khan and ortiz from this list. khan for his ability to fight behind the jab at range and use his speed to outpoint floyd and ortiz for his potential to ko floyd early. at his best floyd beats both easily but its wether after a year and a half lay out he's actually at his best.

if only khan has a decent chin he'll have a chance against floyd. i'll still favor floyd against him though, too smart in the ring.

so do i. look how khan struggled with his accuracy against mcloskey, if anyones an expert in lateral head movement its floyd. i can see a lot of missed punches for amir in that fight. the only chance for khan woulkd be if he could just dominate with the jab like in the mallignaggi fight. make it a boring fight where amir never stays in range long enough to get tagged.

Khan, because Khan > Maidana > Ortiz > Berto.

Why is Berto one of the options he sucks. He due to fight Jan Zavek, and I think if Berto wins it will be controversial.

Either Ortiz or Bradley. Ortiz with his aggressive southpaw style can make things uncomfortable for Floyd, and maybe make Floyd work harder than he likes.

Bradley has shown adaptability, and can always make things rough with a clash of heads.

Berto and Khan lack the smarts to have a reasonable chance at Floyd. Their defenses are too poor and they just rely on athleticism rather than skills and ring IQ.

Definitely Bradley. He can box well, but most importantly is a great swarmer that can punch punches in bunches for 12 rounds. He cant outbox Floyd, today nobody can, but even the great boxers can be outhustled and by putting on pressure to where the boxer cant adjust or have time to think Bradley is a doubke edged sword. Rumors hes working on his punching power, his only real setback, will make him a more dangerous fighter.

Khan by a longshot. I'd still favor Floyd, but he's the only one with a physical characteristic that could give Mayweather problems. Ortiz is usually too gun shy to take advantage of his power, but Khan will have his speed. All that said, I'd still favor Floyd about 80/20.

And honestly, even as shot as he looked against Lara, I STILL think Williams would give him problems if he could make 147. He'd throw three times as many punches as Floyd, and with the way he fights (e.g., not utilizing his length more often than not and getting too close for most fighters), it would help neutralize Floyd's greatest advantage, his ability to avoid punches. If Floyd pulls back and rolls his shoulders like he usually does, he'll still get hit by someone with an 82 inch reach.
