Other than the Walters fiasco

Cafe actually seems reasonable at times, but I guess most of the posts I've saw him write about had nothing to do with EE fighters. He showed his true colors.

I don't even care that Walters didn't accept that offer, I've no ill feelings towards him, but what is a joke is starting a thread already with BS about Loma when he was the one who tried to make the fight happen. Blame Arum if you want for lowballing his own fighter.

 

So because he can make the weight easier he deserves a bigger cut? Loma is the one who wants the fight right, so if you want the fight don't lowball your opponent and take a purse nearly 2x as more. Just offer a 50/50 fight, if you REALLY want the fight. Even though I'd pick loma easily, he proved that he actually didn't want the fight that "badly", not saynig he didn't want it, he clearly did.

Yet you're sitting here trying to act like Walters turned down a 50/50 offer. I agree Loma wanted the fight to happen, but he didn't want it badly enough to just offer 50/50. personally I think walters would have took it, maybe he wouldn't have.

Lomachenko has the featherweight title. He could've demanded Walters make 126 lbs. or a catchweight.

Exactly. It's fvcked up how people put Walters down over the fact that Arum is vastly underpaying Walters. Walters has beaten the better opponents between the two. Walters is an action fighter, and power puncher. Loma fights in the style that most call boring, if the skin tone of the slick technical boxer is darker. Walters would have took the fight if he was being paid properly. Loma gets 800,000 to face bums, while Walters got 100,000 to fight Donaire, and had a career high payday of 300,000 something. That ain't right.

 

Ducking like he's scared? No, but he wants more money and I don't think 650k split would have done it either.

 

Walters rejected a CAREER HIGH payday (career high by a considerable amount, too). Lomachenko did make more money in his second pro fight.

I'm still ****ed about this because Walters is one cool dude.
