I'm a huge fan of the Super Six and believe it's a huge shot in the arm to a sport where the best fights aren't usually made. Is anyone aware of any other tournaments that either Showtime or HBO might have in the works? The Super Six is really popular and a whole lot of fun so I'm kind of surprised that additional tournaments have not yet been put together or announced. I'd love to see one going on for each weight class. Anyone heard any rumors etc?
These tournaments are really hard to organize and fall through all the way unless its been properly perpared. Golden Boy tried to have 8 man lightweight tourny set up last year with the winner fighting JMM. Would anyone of those demand that all their fights be in their home town like Ward did? Would that get it?
