I highly doubt they thought they would be easy fights w/ Froch. From what I recall, Bute went w/ Froch because Ward didn't care to face him right away.

    https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2011/dec/18/carl-froch-lucian-bute-andre-ward

Another quote from Ward: ""He stayed outside this tournament over the past two years while we fought the best there is in the super middleweight division," Ward said. "Maybe he can wait some more now."

That's two quoted from Ward showing he was not going to face Bute after the S6.

I am he, and Team elitist never did such a thing. Team elite were a bunch of boxrec rangers too busy kissing each others a$$ to be taken serious. :hey

You weren't a part of those idiots w/ failey were you?

    Nonsense.

Carl wasn't shot when he fought Andre, and Andre won clearly despite having a fractured hand.

    From that link.

"It's a natural fight," Hearn said. "I'd be very confident to make it as soon as possible. I don't believe Bute would fight Ward in a million years".

Bute and his team were in talks with Hearn to face Froch a day after the Super6 ended.

Why would he not beat Froch , then go after Ward? Why sign two fights with a guy who was just beaten badly?
Because Bute wanted to stay well clear of Ward , thats why.

Why? How the fvck should I know. Maybe with two fighters who are both huge draws in their hometown, they figured they could doubled the money. But there's always "talks" of some sort going on. Look, you seem to think I am blaming all this on Ward, I'm not. But the quotes I have found don't support Ward's "claim" to want to face Bute. He clearly said otherwisae on several occasions. Not that I think it's a duck, but it was more Ward's ego trying to dictate at the time.

Listen, simpletons, Bute had wins against Bika before Ward fight him as a replacement, over Glen Johnson, a super6 semi finalist and he lost to Froch, a super6 finalist. As far as I'm concern Bute fought the same guys Ward fought, Green was on Byte's undercard twice, that's how ****ty he was, and AA who Ward fought in semifinals was coming after not one but two defets in super6. So if Froch earn his place in the final by beating Johnson, Bute earned his fight with Ward doing the same thing. A duck is a duck, deal with it!

He fought "the mummy" also known as Imothep...and also known as Bad Jaw Clownson,a guy who almost lasted a minute in the ring with Adonis Chickenson at his natural weight, not mummified like he was against Ward.

I have to ask, like Brad Pitt Achilles: Is there anyone else? Free baxing history lessons, live, for all demographic simpletons! Is there anyone else?

I'm still waiting for you to tell me how Joe and Sven dared to be great.

If you just wanted to hate on Ward, you could have done that without using their names. Because now you look silly.

Joe defended his WBO belt 21 times.

Do you know how many of those were mandatories?

    About 5.

Sven was extremely lucky to retire undefeated and he never left Germany.

I'd say Sven loved Germany very much. He never left and the Fatherland showered him with gifts!

you keep on saying I am tiresome etc no problem, and yet the fact continues to be that the super six was only reallygood for andre ward ultimately. that's 1 out of 6, not 6 out of 6.

1 outta 6, I can see why you think arguing your side of the argument is tiresome.
