    Ward fights nothing like Hopkins....ever.

Remember Calzaghe was all set to fight Hopkins when Hopkins was champ at 160 and it was Hopkins who got cold feet and pulled the plug.

You're either a troll, or someone who hasn't got an ounce of boxing knowledge.

Either way, trying to engage with you is obviously a pointless task.

Please don't reply back to me again.

I just haven't got the patience for this BS.

    No Dino, you're wrong.

You see Joe had a bigger reach.

Surely you must also have seen all of those elite guys who Joe wrecked?

    Weren't you watching?

    :rofl

I find a thread that Shockmaster's not polluting and then this clown shows up.

    It's not my night.

Ward destroyed Kessler. Kessler didn't win a minute of any round. His domination exposed Calzaghe's unrefined skill-set. His slap shotting would not work on a master tactician like Ward.
Ward is too skilled at rage and too crafty and powerful on the inside.
He's rough Joe up like a rag doll in ways Joe has never encountered in his life.

Before you go any further with this LSD driven fantasy, consider this:

There would have been a HUGE chance that Joe wouldn't have taken a fight with Andre Ward.

Yeah , he does. They are similar.

Joe looked like a dunce against old man Hop. Dawson easily beat Hop.

Ward gave Dawson an absolute shellacking

Because Ward beat an one eyed out of shape Kessler + had an hometown refree. While Calzaghe fought a prime Kessler

It went to the scorecards because of headbutts check you facts

Ward was never as good as prime Hopkins and Calzaghe still beat Hopkins

Prime Calazaghe has a good chance to stop Ward

Joe fought a sloppy fight against one of the most negative fighters around and Dawson was weight drained and blown away in 1 in his next fight against Chickenson.

Break down for me how Ward fights like Hopkins.

If Ward was heavy handed he'd be stopping the likes of Green and certainly would have had Smith out of there earlier.

Look, Ward is a great fighter. He is. I never said he wasn't. But he has the wrong style, skill set, and physical attributes to beat Calzaghe.

What I should have said before is just that the match up is all wrong for Ward. Calzaghe is on a different level than Ward, but that's mostly head to head.

Kessler had more of a straight up style and he fights tall with a big power hand waiting. It deters guys from rushing in to just mug him. Although Ward did that well, even if some of that may have come with a Holyfield-style "lead with the head" strategy.

Ward doesn't fight like Kessler does. His style is much easier for someone like Calzaghe to deal with, including the shorter reach and the lesser power.

I don't think there is anyone in the history of the division that I'm aware of that Calzaghe could not beat who didn't have a good amount of power. Even Roy, who had the athleticism to duel Calzaghe, also had the serious power.

No one is beating Calzaghe in a speed-off, workrate-off, timing-based fight without power. Except maybe Roy, and Roy also had huge power.

I've likely been on this site longer than you and the other guy combined (in fact, I'm certain that is the case). This is a remedial discussion for me; nothing. I'm just trying to be nice to you guys and go easy.

Nah , he clearly had two eyes. He looked and performed in top shape to me.
The ref did not fight the fight for him.
Kessler wanted out anyway. He put up zero protest at the stoppage.

Ward beat better fighter at SMW than Hopkins did at MW
