I'm most surprised that Hennessy hasn't kicked up a big fuss over this

Wont matter anyway. Long as the ref isnt a sadist, and knows when Froch has had enough.

Well I do think it would be worse if the ref from the Ottke - Reid debacle was brought in.

    thats what david is saying

the ref from the ottke v reid fight is judging on a sauerland card , albeit in denmark the froch v kessler fight.

Sean - what is your pick tomorrow? Youre the most respected man on here imo. And I really want to hear how you think this will go down?

i was asked by pecks tonight.

my reply was to pecks pm was

i beleive kessler will win and win comfertably.

i think froch`s style is made to measure for kessler, the only way i can see froch winning is if kessler has gone rapidly downhill and lost confidence in himself and the will to win.

this is kesslers fight to lose.
as you pointed out perhaps ward had his measure , but froch is made to measure for kessler .

kessler`s jab should dominate v froch`s style and i can only see froch winning if he gets lucky and lands the big punch as kessler tires.

kessler has hardly ever lost a round to fighters who stand in front of him, and while froch is a big powerfull 168 fighter and has will to win, self beleif and genuine power , he will find it hard to get into a rythem and get his feet set to land big shots with the kessler jab in his face every 3 seconds or so.

he will have to reset over and over.

kessler wide 118-110 is how i see it.

if froch wins this it will be on willpower/ hard punches and kessler having gone downhill, which is not something we can easily quantify until after the fight.

    kessler points for me.

    Thanks Sean.

This is excactly how I feel as well although I have a suspicion that a fired up Kessler will be able to hurt Froch and finish him. Im picking Kessler by TKO 9 after a dominant performance, because of the styles match up.

    judge yes.

if the fight pans out as i suspect he should not be controversial, i cannot see kessler losing many rounds and if froch wins it is very likley to come by ko this making tilleman irrelevent.

the danger of team sauerland using him in this fight v a british fighter is that ref wise he is the most hated and corrupt ref we have ever seen and it will be thrown in kessler fans faces time and again if this fight is controversial on the cards.

he really should not have been picked.
