This would be an interesting fight, both men have the same manager and are in danger of being in the who needs em club for a while. A fight between the two would be interesting and legitimise the winner quite a bit and potentially put them in line for a big fight.
Wallin should outbox him but Wallin's mojo seems to have gone now. Really who turns up and has trained the hardest, you'd probably have to favour Franklin right now but could go either way. Wallin who showed up against Fury would beat Whyte and Whyte dodging him pretty much finished his career off I reckon.
Wallin is the more fundamentally sound fighter with also more refined intangibles. Otto has also beaten better fighters than Franklin, so he should be the clear favorite. I think the only concern is Wallin's style, which could sway the judges to rob him in close fights, but Franklin isn't exactly the most famous guy in the heavyweight division, so it wouldn't be a problem if they ever fought.
A good fight between technically solid fighters without too much power, Wallin should use his height and win on points.
Wallin is probably reading these forums and amazed that people are still talking about him years after his pathetic performance against Fury.
6:4 fight, but I'd bet on Franklin based solely on heart and guts. Even more so, now that he had gone 24 rounds against top 10 heavies and remained mentally and physically prime and ambitious. Wallin never did it for me.
The sad part is that I thought that this fight was just low-budget enough that you might have been talking about something that was pluasibly signed. But nope. Hypothetical, because "fighters" don't fight anymore.
I think Wallin is not good at all and Jermaine Franklin has enough to beat him on the cards. I don't know why anyone even talks about Wallin at all, as if he's a prime time guy
Franklin is better imo. Boring fight though, these guys are better off playing spoiler to raw prospects.
Both are durable without much punching power. Wallin's longer, faster, more determined, southpaw and has better wins so he would probably win comfortably by decision.
Gave a prime undefeated ATG hell and etched his name into the history books in the process. You need to have another think about your usage of the word pathetic here champ.
