After analyzing the fight time and time again i honestly think otto wallin has unlocked the secret for troubling Fury. He came forward and put some pressure for the first half of the fight and worked the body. At times he also cut off the ring and didnt allow fury to get comfortable. All of this even before the cut happened. To give fury the benefit of the doubt he was weight drained and didnt train as much as he was probably expecting a tom schwartz but got a much better opponent. But regardless its still fury. Fury dominated the last half of the fight and wallin didnt have an answer because he isn't the best inside fighter. but he couldn't put wallin away and wallin ended up hurting fury in the 12th with a left hook and started pushing fury back.

    Thoughts ?

Wallin is a very good fighter who just lacks power. Fury was not expecting him to be that aggressive, let himself get hurt, woke up, and won a fight with a horrific cut.

In a rematch, Fury will win every round.

Very true but wallin hasn't fought anyone else to suggest he's near elite level let alone an elite level inside fighter. Ive seen where everytime someone goes on the front foot against fury and tries to get on the inside he clinches for dear life. His power is only highlighted when he's on the front foot and sits on his punches. Im not sure he can exactly do that against someone like whyte or other decent inside fighters

Not saying he'd loose to whyte tho. He'd outbox him. Just saying he wouldn't be able to have success on the front foot against whyte like he did against wilder and wallin

He does lack power and went full distance with Granat, who got blasted out by Dimitrenko.
    Still he almost TKOed Fury.
If Fury fights someone with power, who can box he is in trouble.

He probably means somebody with power who can put the pressure on fury like wallin did

Wlad was 40 and 15 years older than Fury and still the best fighter Fury have ever fought.

I really didn’t think Fury looked that bad in this fight. I believe I had him winning like 8 rounds to 4. Maybe I need to watch it again as everyone else seems to think it was really close.

I think Fury won comfortably enough but it was very competitive.

This is the problem I have with Fury fans, they are so blinkered, they don't want to or refuse point blank to see any weaknesses in Fury and there are a few.

Fury is a very good fighter, very talented, but he isn't the greatest of all time and he can be beaten.

If AJ beats him the meltdowns will be amazing LOL. The excuses will make Wilders look quite reasonable.

Fury will not be able to walk down anyone who can box. The more I think about it the more I think Joshua has a real chance

    Fury will outbox AJ though.

AJ has to step to him...and Fury will put his big jab into his big dull face.

Fury was flat for the Wallin fight. Dropped too much weight. No real gameplan against an underestimated opponent. Meanwhile, Wallin came with a perfect gameplan, boxed extremely well & only lost out in the late/mid rounds where he couldn't handle Fury's physicality.

Joey Gamache is making a name for himself as a trainer. Teofimo's secret weapon.

Your right I don't see Fury walking straight at Joshua like he did Wallin/Wilder if he did try that I could see Joshua hurting him

Fury was drained in that fight, the Kronk Fury takes out Wallin inside 6.

Aj isnt going to let fury jab his face off. i see Aj aggressively moving forward in the front foot and trying to work the body. Fury has a much better jab the wlad but wlads is undeniably more powerful and so is his right hand yet we saw Aj go ape**** and attack him in the 5th round so i see no reason why he wouldnt attempt the same thing on the less poweful puncher fury. Fury needs to avoid engaging against Joshua which he could very well do cause he has the best movement in the era but it wont be easy
