Ouma beats the crap outta him. Ive been in sparring with Ouma......he doesnt stop. K9 is lke a amatuer wen I watch him fight. Ouma wont let him breathe. Ouma by either late KO or UD. PS.... Ouma doesnt train down hear no more or I would ask him why does he want to keep fighting these Contender C class fighters??? He was at a championship level not to long ago....what happened???
I think K9 can win this fight. Ouma hasn't looked too hot. This is a crossroads fight for these 2 guys.
K9 is a very respectable fighter, but even though Ouma was beaten by a journeyman last outing, I can't see him losing this.
Ouma at his best would beat K-9, but the way Kasim looked last time out, I can't say for sure who I think will win. Should be a good fight as neither guy can really afford another loss.
Intentional, you know you are too hard on K-9. We've had that conversation before. Calling him a "respectable fighter" is not out of line, even if you hate his style. :yep
He's not a world-class fighter by any means, but I have a good deal of respect for hard-working journeymen like himself.
I don't know, maybe he does train hard but his biggest wins have IMO been undeserved victories over much more talented guys with enormous size disadvantages he had no business being in the ring with. That's my beef. I guess I can at least respect him fighting on after the spanking he got from Julio, if for nothing else.
K-9 looked like crap his last time out. He has not improved at all. Ouma takes this by late stoppage or a pretty wide Ud. Bundrage can punch, but he ain't knocking Kasim out, and a ko or tko would be his only chance at winning. Boo
This is another decent scrap on ESPN2. They seem to have stepped in up a bit after last year's down season. Mike Host, 'Toe2Toe' www.theknockoutnetwork.com
I might have agreed with you a few months ago, Boo, but Ouma looked worse in his last fight than K-9 did. If that was just an aberration and Kasim can still bring it, I expect him to win. But there are questions about him after his last showing.
You thought last season was down? I thought it was pretty decent. They had some good prospects on and some established veterans like Glenn Johnson. Given their budget, I thought they put on some good cards. Some of their main events were above some of the ones that Shobox put on.
Motor City Sam I thought last year was the worst on ESPN in a long time. It seemed week after week they were being crushed heads up by Telefutura. I know the budget issues restrict a lot, but I just didnt think much of last season. Way too many mismatches and non-competitive main events. I think next week's co-feature is better than 90% of what they did last season. Add to that a Darnell Wilson-BJ Flores bout and Ouma-Bundrage already on the schedule.
