I never saw this but someone on here said Ouma should have won. I notice Vanes got knocked down in this fight. How did the fight go? I expected Martirosyan to dominate. Did he really deserve the victory? Anybody can describe the fight?
It was competitive but not thrilling. Neither man really dominated at any point, but it did seem to me that Ouma clearly won more rounds. Vanes couldn't hurt him or keep him away with his hands, so he had more success moving and boxing than fighting. Unfortunately for him Kassim was able to drag him into a fight periodically and tag him up quite a bit (though not without taking his own licks).
Vanes landed the cleaner, harder, and more thudding shots throughout the fight. I didn't keep a scorecard but It was possible that Ouma won a lot of rounds from his pressure and the KD.
