Where have you been?? Thats old news...I'd love to see Ouma fight Angulo...OUMA FIGHTS ANYONE! THATS A TRUE FIGHTER RIGHT THERE!!!:bbb
For a short notice replacement Ouma isn't bad. I don't know what Ouma has left but he's nowhere near his peak from several years ago. He fell pretty quick too. But Ouma has a ton of experience and if he has one last fight in him he could make Angulo work hard for his victory but if he is truly done then he's in for a beating. He's the best of the 2-3 names being mentioned as replacements and he's been on HBO a few times so I wouldn't be surprised if he gets the fight. A real shame it won't be Mayorga though.
Really? Angulo has been making a name of himself against pressure fighters and thats all Ouma is and without any power whatsoever, the only thing Ouma will test Angulo is his stamina in the late rounds. Bundrage has the power to chin check Angulo ,also lets not forget Bundrage has the recent win over Ouma and thus more credit for a win over K9 than Ouma at this point for Angulo. Not to mention I have yet to see a fight Ouma was in that was exciting.
It would be good work for Angulo, but Ouma would probably take a beating in the end. Not sure it's worth it from his point of view.
the rapids rise and fall of Kassim Ouma..Poor guy..I all went downhill after he lost to the russki.. Angulo puts a BAD hurtin' on Ouma.. ktfo
Ouma looked done when he fought K-9, and K-9 has heart but a terrible chin and ugly style. Gomez would be the best match-up from a competitive/entertainment standpoint given the options mentioned, though he would be very hard-pressed to pull off the win himself.
