Our collective disappointment in Fury lately shouldn’t overshadow how lame Wilder is

Witnessing the downfall of Wilder's Lions Den Community has been beautiful.
Witnessing the catastrophic collapse of Fury's fish-eyed followers has been even more entertaining.

The middleweight came into the heavyweight division 3 years ago and destroyed the top 3 effortlessly. 2 of them he didn't even need to meet in the ring.

    Brilliant.

    It was.

I would still be onboard the HMS Fury had he not pulled all this crap and ducked the people's champ Usyk but I abandoned ship and I don't think there's anything he can do to win me over ever again

Yes, Usyk is in the slaying dragons in their own lair business and he's The Daddy of the HW division now and he didn't just prove so many wrong and so few right when he slayed AJ in his lair, he did it x 2 and now he's got Belly running from him like a thief in the night and shaking like a pooping dog whenever he hears his name

So this clown is hinting that he will inflict physical damage on Fury if he sees him in the street, Wilder knows Fury can't come to the USA right now but that's the only reason he said that because he knows he won't be running into Fury randomly in the US. Dude is still suck a clown.

Isn't it funny Usyk feels the same way as Wilder does.

Sometimes, you start out as a villain, and if you stick around long enough, fans start rooting for you.

I'm getting the feeling Wilder might be remembered more kindly when his career is over than Fury will be.

    HMS titanic = Fury
Rose on wooden door = Me holding on
Dead Di Caprio sinking underwater = You letting go

    Iceberg = Usyk

Fat man didn't even see him coming before being drowned for all to see.

Fury had to fight Wilder 3x to win convincingly. Iceberg defeated Fury without throwing a punch.

As the biggest ****-talker in the world of boxing, imagine losing a war of words to someone who speaks broken English.

Usyk has defeated Fury, unlike any other boxer in history.
    • Climbed up to the ring and stared into the soul of tainted boar meat. Rattled Fury into seeking solace in fellow countryman, Joe Joyce.
    • Aluded to the lies from the 'generous champion'. 'I'm not about the money' but won't take less than 70%. Calling his bluff in the process and making him look a right mug for the world to see.
    • Unmatched wit online, defeating Fury at his own shitposting game with one-liners
    • In turn, forced Fury to go back online and hurl expletive rants about Usyk's physical appearance. Highlighting his mental instability, concern about his loss of followers and the general perception of the 'peoples champ'.
There are levels to this game.

I have never, in four decades of boxing, saw a hypejob like Wilder. His resume and record is truly a joke. It's like bragging about being undefeated in shadow boxing when talking about who he has finished.

    Great record.

Olympic Bronze Medalist. (Would've fought Usyk in the Semifinals but Oleksandr lost in the Quarterfinals.)

He was the WBC heavyweight Champion for five years. Made 10 successful heavyweight title defenses. Has engaged in 13 heavyweight title fights in total and only lost two (the second was named Ring Fight of the Year).

Fell one short of matching the all-time consecutive KO record at the start of a title reign (held by both Larry Holmes and Tommy Burns) at eight when, in Wilder's eighth defense, Tyson Fury was saved in the last round by Jack "Sometimes My Standing Eight Counts Take 20 Seconds Off The Clock" Reiss.

Did all that not having outweighed an opponent in 10 years. Hell, Fury outweighed him by 40 pounds in all their fights. How many heavyweight champs gave up weight to all their opponents for a decade and still knocked all of them out but one? ZERO. (Hell, Fury was outweighed in only TWO fights. McDermott outweighed him by five pounds and arguably WON.)

Never quit in a fight. Won one title defense by stoppage with a broken hand AND a torn bicep, both of which required surgery.

Should Wilder ICE Usyk next, Wilder will be the SECOND fighter to win ALL the heavyweight titles in the "Sanctioning Belt" Era.

For a guy who gets badmouthed so much, it's a pretty damn good record.

With Fury v Usyk not being made, I'd love to see Usyk v Wilder. It'd be an on the edge of your seat fight for sure. Usyk by UD or very late TKO unless the right hand of a lifetime lands.

Personally, I think it'll be a short night. If Spilzka and the other cans can keep away from Wilder's big right hand, so can Usyk.
Let's not forget that Wilder has been baptized by Fury. He knows he can't take a punch now, after being battered by a 'feather-fisted' fighter.

I'm not sure if it was due to the Fury fighters, but in the opening round, we saw a very tentative Wilder against the plodding Helenius. I understand that's only a single round, but if Wilder starts slow against Usyk, he's going to sleep - early.

If Usyk comes out as he did against Joshua there's no chance that Wilder makes it past round 2.
Usyk will be coming out to make a statement and he will be full of energy, unlike Wilder who has been overwhelmed by the big stage on more than one occassion.

Usyk by stoppage between rounds 1-3.
