Our collective disappointment in Fury lately shouldn’t overshadow how lame Wilder is

Worth remembering Usyk usually starts slow and gradually increases pressure as the fight progresses. Wilder also seems to have a lot of fight in him even when he looks like he's about to fall over. It's these two things that makes it likely to go the distance.

Of course Usyk could blast him out in two rounds which would truly be a great moment.

They have shown themselves to be soul mates. They should declare their non-binary status and get married at the Vatican. The current Pope can officiate. It can be simulcastcast on Tik Tok and BLK Prime and Disney will make a feature animated film to be mandatory viewing in all westen grade schools public or private. Denzel can play Deontay and Brad Pitt to play Tyson.

Absolutely. I did consider the slow starter aspect of Usyk, but I think his best approach would be to come out aggressively as he did against Joshua. Usyk is no mug, so maybe I'm giving him premature credit for exploiting Wilders weaknesses out of the gate.

Neither Joshua nor Wilder like to box off the back foot, more so Wilder. It nullifies the explosiveness that Wilder has, as he isn't able to set. If Usyk comes out with lateral movement, dramatic feints and solid up-jabs, Wilder will shell up. Usyk builds off rhythm and I don't see Wilder having enough output to stop him moving.

    Fun fight while it lasts!

Wilder doesn't like fighting off the back foot? It nullifies his explosiveness?

Wilder literally KOed his last opponent in the first round while fighting off the back foot.

Helenius, 40 pounds heavier, with a great jab, came out aggressively and decided the smart play was to make Wilder retreat.

Also, the Spzilka fight was eight years and another trainer ago. And Spzilka was stretchered out. Whatever some of you guys "think" Szpilka did, what he did practically got him killed. He was never the same again.

I hope Wilder and Usyk fight ... and I hope Usyk "tries to go for an early KO."

Usyk coming in aggressively would be the kiss of death.

There's a huge difference between Helenius and Usyk, and I think you know that.

Dribblechin is intentionally forgetting that Helenius hasn't been a good fighter in 12 years.
