If Ike was indeed capable of outboxing Tua yet chose not to, its only a testament to his overall lack of boxing acumen. Of course anyone not sculpted out of granite would have been kayoed.

I do feel that Lewis, a past it Holy and even a then prime Ruiz (eek!) would have outsmarted and outpointed him.

Of course I dont know this.

ps Ike KO's Klitschko, outclasses Peter and destroys Chag :yep

It's Ibeabuchi's fault in the end, can't blame anyone for this but him.

The south american state of Brasil has also robbed us of the greatness of the outstanding Cuban Ringondeaux.
Rigondeuax was an artist inside a box ring.He would have been true feast for eyes watching him fight in the paid ranks.
This great Cuban amateur left the Cuban national squad behind and was on the point of signing a pro contract with Solis' and Gamboa' s present promoter when he was caught by the Brasilian police and deported back to Cuba a couple of months ago.
Really sad! Rigondeaux even had more talent than Gamboa.

Well Byrd rocked Tua (who is rarely wobbled) with bodyshots, so it's not out of the question, but indeed i can't really remember Byrd landing a hard bodyshot on Ike.

Ike KOs Peter and Ruiz, imo. Lewis would give Ike a lot of problems, but I'd make Ike the favorite by a mid-late stoppage

. As for Holyfield I think a fight between the two would be close but I'd pick Ike by a UD. Holyfield had tendencies to stand and slug it out, only problem is he'd be slugging with someone who can turn it up a lot more than he can, I also overall just feel that they have similarities as fighters.

Ibeabuchi was a special fighter in my opinion. He could have gone on to do some big things. I would have favored him over Klitschko, Peter, Chagaev, Povetkin, Valuev, and Ibragimov. Lennox Lewis and Vitali Klitschko are two fights that would have been extremely interesting, although I find myself favoring them both over Ibeabuchi.

Unfortunately, he turned out to be a paranoid schizophrenic. It's best for society that he remains in prision.

Vitali and Lewis do seem like bad match-ups for Ike, especially Vitali, but Lewis on the other hand I'm a bit reluctant to make a favorite.

Yeah, Vitali's size, awkwardness, and chin make him a tough matchup for just about anybody. And he's extremely strong, mentally. I'd be much more comfortable picking him over Ike than I would be in picking Wladimir.

I'd make Lewis a favorite because he was far more proven. And when he came in focused and 100 percent prepared, he had a fine track record. I see him outboxing Ibeabuchi for most of the fight, but having to weather some rough storms along the way. It's certainly not out of the question that Ibeabuchi finds home and finishes Lewis off.

But we've gained the myth of Ike "could've been the saviour" Ibeabuchi.

Well he would've been the savior of today's heavyweight division, that's for damn sure.
