Things always seem easyer for people to understand if you can liken whatever your talking about to simple things they understand...food being a simple and easy thing to understand is a natural...and thats about the only thing i could think of while I watched Vitali Klitschko hit the mobile punching bag that is Samuel Peter...Soup :yep plus here in Canada its Thanksgiveing and I've been looking forward to turkey all night...a stark contrast to the soup for dinner last night.
It's not a matter of where they are from, the division itself sucks, the only 2 great fighters in the division are the Klits Bros and they won't even fight each other. I mean if you've seen their latest fights you see that they don't even try that hard and still win with ease.
exactly I dont care where they are from...but if theres two guys who are obvioustly just better than everyone else they have to fight or you have a dull boreing soup of a division....
I think Ruslan Chagaev is a handy operator, and not too much of a fat ******* either. Injury-prone though.
The worst offenders of being fat and lazy heavyweights are clearly from the US, and thats disappointing, they have every advantage in terms of nutrition and training, they just don't give a ****, they are fat and lazy. There will be no American HW worth a **** if they continue to be fat and lazy, and I haven't seen anything to prove that its gonna end. The Euro's at least show up like a professional ****ing athlete, maybe not ripped like the Klits, but not fat, not lazy, not out of shape.
reminds me of the basketball dream team. once they came in to the olympics other countries started to develop their tallent more until ... well, until the year the US team didn't even medal. face it, europe has the desire and interest and the american boxers are too busy with their bacon woppers and chocolate frosties. forget the HW division.... look around, you see alot of american boxers dominating anywhere other then light heavy and middle?
The basketball comparison was bad, it was more like the US wasn't sending their best players to the Olympics, and in boxing they just don't have any talent they can use. Boxing in America is dying, just ask any kid that wants to be an athlete what sport they would like to play, and they will answer basketball, baseball, football, etc. Even if they want to be a boxer, how many parents will actually encourage them?
He does have natural ability you moronic jackass. He just has zero motivation to utilize it. Don't tell anyone you think that Sam Peter who showed up last night was the same guy who fought Wladimir. You'd look a damn fool. Anyone, many on here witnessed a huge difference. So cut the bull**** and get lost. First time I've been wrong on a prediction since Williams-Quintana 1 earlier this year. So go **** yourself, newbie.
Sam Peter is just too slow....he has no eliment of explotion at all...everyone whos tall and who has any serious talent (basicly thats the klitschko brothers) will beat him. anybody who he can reach with his fists is in trouble against him....but against a taller guy whos alos really good hes just never gonna be able to land clean punches.
The HW division is not bad at all!! Most people suffer from herd mentality and aren't willing to be open minded when they look at the potential match-ups. Its a real shame!!
The heavyweight division sucks you say? I'll run right quick, maybe I can stop the presses in time for this breaking news. Seriously, it's been this way pretty much the whole decade.
Athletes in general today are bigger and stronger than ever in all sports. Today's best heavies can fight yesterday's big heavies. The only difference is that the days of Communism are over and now all the Ivan Drago's are crawling out of the woodwork. It all started with Golota, then Maskaev, then Klitscko's, then Valuev, Povetkin. etc, etc. Soon it will be an entire Eastern European field.
