I think the truth is in between. Floyd feels pretty confident in beating Pac but he has his small doubts (actually the biggest in his career and though still not very big) and the stake is huge. That's why he screams, braggs so loud. He's very hesitant to take these risks even if there is not big of a chance that he'll loose.
