They do have some redeeming features but the salita level mandatories, creating silver belts, super champs, interms and sanctioning catch weights which annoy me.

Ya that Berto fight is a joke, but wasn't the WBC mandatory he was supposed to be fighting that Turkish guy Aydin, who by all reports is supposed to be terrible.

We don't want to see loads of good fighters. We want to know who is the best boxer in the world. There is a competative architecture but a flawed one.

Sanctioning bodies and the plethora of them can contribute to great fights not happening too.

Fighters vacating belts to avoid tricky mandatories knowing full well theres a number of other organisations and belts that he can pick up instead, SOME WITH SOME VERY DUBIOUS FIGHTERS IN THEIR TOP 10'S.

If theres was only one title per division I think fighters would be very reluctant to vacate knowing that was their only shot at being a champ and earning the big money

Having around 70 'World Champions' in the sport is ludicrous.

That's excluding the Ring titles and before we even start on the P4P championship that Ricky so liked.

No one can even agree on what undisputed etc means any more.
