Out of all of Mayweather's previous opponents, Judah was NOT the most similar to Pac

Sharmba Mitchell, however shot, was much closer to Pac's style imo because of his frenetic foot- and upper-body movement.

Interestingly enough, the late Emanuel Steward went on record tabbing Mitchell as the biggest threat to Floyd when he moved up from 135 to 140 (i think he said it on air during the Mayweather-Corley broadcast). Too bad Tszyu got to him first, otherwise Mayweather-Mitchell would have been much more compelling.

that's so funny because I was thinking this same thing earlier. Floyd would take a different approach though

he should. he took risks against Mitchell that he likely can't afford to take against Pac

Body shots put Mitchell down, another advantage Floyd has over Manny

yep Judah was the closest thing to Pac.

HOWEVER, Maquez was the closest thing to Mayweather. We all know what happen there.

He nearly took Cotto out. Mitchell was a dangerous fighter.

Yep but at this stage I think Judah can help him more than Mitchell can.

Steward also said that Mayweather vs. Guerrero was a toss up. Mitchell was a good fighter, but he never had the talent or style to beat Mayweather. I don't think he's all that similar to Pacquiao either.

A prime Judah's offense is actually a little more unpredictable compared to pacman. From round to round, you had no idea what you were going to get from Zab.

As great as pacman is (and he's an ATG,) he's a bit predictable with his fighting style and you can time him with counterpunches with much more predictability compared to judah.

I agree with the others, aside from their southpaw stance, judah and manny don't fight in a similar manner at all.

yeah. the only thing that is similar is they're both fast and judah used the jab, jab, left. that's it though, lol. tbh, the style of judah is more similar to the style of mayweather now than of pacquiao ever.

I would say Castillo is, just based on aggression and punch volume, but realistically Floyd hasn't faced anything like Pac yet.
