Out of all the fighters with injuries, who had the best legacy?

I think we've all heard it all: Mosley with blisters in the Pacquiao fight, Barrera with a metal plate in his head, Deontay wilder with bionic hands, Paulie Malignaggi/ Floyd Mayweather with brittle hands and so on and so forth...

Out of how many of them, who made it the furthest? Which ones covered up or hid injuries? Who survived from them? And how many were either tended to or not (with treatment)?

My vote goes with Andre Ward man, this dude is an atg AND he had a shoulder injury that impeded him. He talked about it on the Joe Rogan show. He pretty much was a one armed fighter. Only revision would recall the facts lol, but he went pretty far limited until he got it tended till. It was almost story like...

Winner of the super middleweight championship, beat Chad Dawson who was pound for pound, went out with two good wins with Kovalev. He never had the flashiest style but man he had heart. To believe in himself when he was down .. let's try to build a montage here so we can use it as motivation. Whether to get off the couch, do one more round of boxing, roadwork whatever. Especially in days we don't wanna do it!

Joe Frazier probably, legally blind on one eye with messed up elbow joint on his best arm. Then went on to win a gold medal, pretty much cleared out what's probably the most stacked heavyweight division ever including the GOAT heavyweight himself, had a good title and champ reign and some good wins after, retired with a 27/32 ko ratio, losing only to two fellow atgs, and a unssucesful but respectable comeback, as a 38 year old swarming pressure fighter, against a young man who seemed built to beat him at his own game but drew instead.

    Decent I'd say.

Rocky Marciano had massive back issues for the later part of his career and a herniated disc was actually the primary reason he retired

Frazier won the gold with a broken thumb and was also a "lifelong diabetic"
