past and present which ones would be beaten or not be beaten by Jake Lamotta as the challenger in prime?

Ray Robinson won 5 outta 6 fights...

Monzon would also handle LaMotta every time in a series, too...

Hagler is too diversified for LaMotta... A great pairing there...

Nigel "Big Ben" Benn prolly batters LaMotta real good at 160 as well as any top dog would...

    MR.BILL:bbb

    Note:

I exclude other champs like: "Leonard, Hearns, Duran, Barkley, Toney & Royale Jones" since they were only cameo players / champs at 160....

Though many here in the classic forum will insist that Harold Greb would KO Jacob LaMotta flat on his face inside of 3 rds if pitted in a time machine...

In a series I think that LaMotta could take one against Greb.

Robinson (naturally), Monzon and Hagler would have LaMotta's number and quite possibly Tiger, Giardello and Griffith (at least in a rematch) as well.

I'd say theres probably 20 or so MWs that would beat him prime for prime, Robinson was 144lbs when Lamotta beat him

You dont think Greb would stop Jake in a round?? Or 2 perhaps?

All Harry Greb is missing is that S on his chest.

I would favour Greb over any middleweight in history, but the great ones could split a series with him given his hectic schedule.

Greb KO2 superman by the way.

Greb would have a picnic with LaMotta because of STYLES. LaMotta would be a sitting target for Harry,
. His volleys from all angles ,would befuddle Jake, who would be punching
the air.Lamotta couldn't get set,as speed kills and Greb had the hand speed, and speed of foot to escape from any possible danger... BAD, BAD,
Matchup for the Bronx Bull. No Contest...

MW is always very interesting because there are so many really good fighters that could beat each other on a given nite.
