I'm not saying that he would stand and trade with him. Just that he would box the way that he did the first half + of the first fight. And I fully believe that he thought that he was way ahead on the cards. You can hear them in the corner telling him that he is way ahead and that all he has to do is stay away and most people that watched the fight also thought that he had the fight in the bag after the 9th round.

Peter/Wlad 2, the first fight was exciting, so I would really love to see a second fight. Peter wins by 5th round TKO.

 

This one WILL happen in 2008 or early 2009 and this board will be blowing up when the fight is announced, although Peter has to whow me that he can punch in combinations all the time. He just got ko'd a couple of times by MCcline for christ sakes. I will still reserve my judgement on this matchup until the fight is announced. It has the potential to be the first HW superfight in a looong time. & it'll live up to it. Their possible glass jaws will only add to the excitement.

 

Fair enough, I think Sam Peter will prove that the Mccline fight was a fluke that was taken in less than 10 days notice, when he knocks Maskaev brutally in March. I see Wlad/Peter 2 happening in 09, if both men continue winning, this fight would help the struggling Heavyweight division greatly IMO.:good

It could have been Roy by stoppage. He had KO power that Bernard did not have.
In fact, at 175, I would say 50/50 chance of a KO.

Disagree. I think Lennox dodged a a bullet in their fight.

If Lennox felt he could have won, he would have taken the fight. His legacy and beating every man he ever fought was more important to him. He waite and thought, long and hard, and decided not to risk it.

Prime Lennox beats prime Vitali, but Lennox/Vitali came at the very end of Lennox's prime.

Oscar 'won' at 147. He would also have won at 154. At 160, it would have been more difficult. But he did better against Bernard IMO, than Tito did. He was not being dominated the way Tito was.

At 160, Oscar/Tito would have been 50/50.

 

nah he was in shape meaning he wasn tfat but he wasnt training to fight vitali.

when kirk dropped out the fight seemed off...then 1 and a half weeks later vitali came to save the day. now when you are cancelled a fight you dont stay in good enough shape.

and dragging vtali into a dogfight is no game plan the plan would of been to jab and figh ton the inside it was only until later on into the fight did lennox notice how effective he was on th einside against him
