Danny Lopez in my book. He'd gamely trudge forward looking to trade, even when dropped hard. Hell, a lot of times the fight didn't start until he got dropped.

Nigel Benn. There was so much unpredictability in his fights: power + a lack of durability + an aggressive style = ridiculously exciting fights.

He wasn't the BEST boxer out of that list, but he was the most exciting.

Corrales and Gatti come a close 2 + 3 respectively.

I'm partial to Gatti. I'm a jersey boy myself and that kid had fire under his ass and a heart the size of his swellings at the end of most fights.

Matthew Saad Muhammad, although I'd be happy to watch anyone on that list in any fight in any venue.

But Muhammad's fights were not only exciting, they usually were exciting over the course of several rounds. Each fight I'd be thinking, 'Well, this is finally it. No way he comes back this time.' And I'd be wrong.
