Froch decisions Bute after a Ward.

Kessler and Bute is a toss up.

When it comes to "top" super middleweights:

Bute would knock out Dirrell. And Allan Green. And Sartison. And Stieglitz.

He might stop Pavlik (not knock him out, but force Jack to throw in the towel).

He doesn't ever stop Kessler, Ward, Froch, Johnson or Quillin IMO.

 

If you threw more names in there the answer wouldn't be none.

Ward, Froch and Kessler are all too skilled & durable to imagine them getting kayoed by Bute.

You should ask about the second tier at 168 instead.

Well.......I think he would drop Froch (despite his so-called resilience) and Kessler; they are really too stationary for Bute.
But you cannot expect to KO people who obviously don't wanna
fight you.

 

Threads like this just brings more hate to Bute. I a Bute fan, but I don't think that KOs will come eassy at top level. And I also say he is not #1 but certantly elite at SMW.

 

Froch is stationary? :huh

Also, Kessler may just come forward but his beard is insane. If Bute drops him it will be with a body shot (as Calzaghe showed to be a weakness).

 

If it was only for the chin, I would tend to agree....

Hard to know how they would react if Bute lands on the body...
