    You speak of pretension
    As a negative hit
    In a faux Shakespearen
    Imitation of wit

    From puke to schnook
    I'm impressed
    Therasus assisted
    If I had a guess

    AE might be flattered
    perhaps even floored !
    that his style be compared
to the man from Strat Ford.

    Floyd needed some cover
    when using the PED
    So he pointed the finger
    at Pacman instead

    Now history repeats,
And we have we before us
    Some fairly strong proof
    Duke’s got a thesaurus !

    Abandoning rap,
    he attempts new convention
    but exposes the gap
    in his range and dimension.

Good point, actually. And let's give Rahman some credit, ffs. When he was on a mission, he was pretty good. Often on these boards I see Rahman described as a "bum" and he was anything but that.

I think Sanders beats anybody on Wlad's list without a chin, and even some of those with a chin, as shown by the excellent boxing performance against granite-chinned Puritty.

I would say Povetkin would probably have the best chance. Maybe Brewster, or a similar hard-nosed banger. Not Peter though, his footfwork is abysmal even for old Corrie. Let's not forget that Sanders at that point was getting long in the tooth.

Long in the tooth but possibly at his peak. I've watched his earlier fights and he did not perform as well or look as mean as he did 03/04. Even in his last fight when he was defo past prime he was only stopped by a body shot against a guy he would have wiped the floor with 5 years earlier.

:huh Look, he was a bit of a hot-and-cold performer at times, but when he met Wlad his footwork was a shadow of what it once was. His famous handspeed was also on the slide. His gas tank was gone, not that it mattered. Maybe he hit a bit harder and took a better punch. But I'd prefer the boxer-puncher version that took on Puritty any day.

Reduced to mere couplets? So neat and concise.
And yet, rather wordy, you’re posing it twice !

A faux imitation? That phrase draws a tear !
Tautological musings, it seems we have here.

Like avian birds, female woman, and such.
The superfluous adjective seems a bit much!

When you hit him on the chin he always go's in to a spin three times he landed on his a## because his chops are made of glass.

    Faux Imitation
    A beautiful construction
    To prove a point
    About your misdirection

    You attack me without reason
    With broad accusation
    A hypocritical sensation
    Oblivious to the pretension
    Of his own creation
    Mispronunciation
    Endlessly circling
    Childish condensing
    Attention Begging
    Last word insisting
    Constantly persisting
    Ceaselessly inflicting
    Me with
    Irritating
    Exhausting
    Agitating
    Driveling
    Bantering
    Over Reaching
    Vocabulary
    You call poetry
I disagree, this is a symphony
    And this is my crescendo
    An evolution of emotion
    A melody of words
    Moving in direction
    Free from your restriction
    Old fashion
    Mistaken
    For Quality
    What separates you from me
    You imitate, because you
    cannot be

    Consult your thesaurus, your dictionary
Steal from the masters who came before me
Repeat what I said, a little more elegantly
    Fail to see the irony
    In your lack of originality
    Continue to attack me
    Overwhelm me with quantity
    That's your only chance
    For a moral victory

Oh Baba Dook, we feel your pain,
    Your anguish and your misery.
    You've been out-poetry'd again
I think that's plain for all to see.

You had to edit that last try
    One smiles, indeed, to contemplate
Your first attempt when you did vie.
And still, you finished second rate.

Your rhyme and meter, they still want.
Is this the best your ass can do ?
In truth you've penned a pile of cant
    and poetry, you should eschew.

    I'm 12 feet tall
    Made out of shadows
    With giant claws
    So what I edit
    My typing flaws

    And this verse
    Was the worst
    You've written yet
    Exposed, burned
    cut down to size
    Run out of classics
    To plarerize

Profound indeed! a man of stature
    wispy, willowy; awesome claws.
But talons are no match for talents
    'lessn' when you're graspin' straws.

Alas there's more to writing verse
Than simply fitting words to form
This effort could not get little worse
It makes the reader cringe and squirm.
