you are prop talking about a 1 off, most guys use the 2 minutes rounds because they are not fit enough to do 3 minutes

Not necessarily. Although double-bills are just another reason for 10x, or 12x 2's. Pro-Am main events.. etc etc.

I seem to remember Leo Young jnr vs Benny Horra, for the Vic super welter title, being 10x 2's. Will find out.

When i was asked if i wanted to fight on the show i said no im not fit enough, i was then told by my trainer back then that it would be 1 min rounds so being that i enjoyed fighting i accepted, and even to the point of accepting the last min change for it to be 2 min rounds thus i was throwing up in Bens changeroom, experiance wise i thought id pull through ok but it was alot hard than i expected due to inactivity and not training, im not superman and i dont think anyone can rely on experiance to get them through 2 min rounds in a title fight with no training for a year. I had not trained for a year because i purchased a house and started an apprentiship.

so where you throwing up before the fight or after, i don't understand

there's no excuse mate, you shouldn't have fought. Either your trainer lied or the promoter. You should have waited to the next show.

if your not fit don't fight, cant make excuses

It was after the fight m8, ive never thrown up before a fight. The same trainer has asked me to take a shot of whisky before a fight when i tore the rotator cuff or somesht like that in my shoulder, i couldnt even wipe my arse my shoulder was that shot and he still wanted me to fight so it doesnt suprize me to much that he would throw me in a fight knowing im not fit enough to be in there. I guess he was relying on my experiance idk.

The trainer didnt lie either unless it was all staged because it was a last min change, the ring announcer or someone in a suit come in the change rooms and said we want to change your fight to the NSW state title, its going to be over 2 min rounds. Trainer looked at me and said what do you think Ty? I banged my gloves together and said lets go win a state title, i didnt give it a second thought, i can honestly say back then i loved to fight. I did hang up the gloves for a while after that, i knew i couldnt half arse do it anymore and i never trained with that trainer again. One of the guys that fought on the same show from Albury died a couple of days later. Not sure if it was related to his fight but he was very overweight and unfit and was a heavy. He died of some heart condition and was one of Reno Zurics fighters that got ropped into joining the trip. The trainer that organised the trip was Grayem Melbourne.

I edited the reply above also after u quoted not sure if you have seen it or not.

No match for Sprauler as one of your alias' Ty.

But as we all know, you are hilariously guilty for the alias' Johny Drama, Chopper, Amalie Cross and a few more - LOL!

    Correct. Sprawla isn't.

But many others including Johny Drama, Chopper & Amalie Cross are.

Chopper's still my alltime favourite, but the girlie one, Amalie, was a nice touch, and an equal opportunity gesture as well.
