I was never schooled by any Australian tourist, your full of sht. Birchy couldnt school me so hows a novice going to you rekon? The only Australian i sparred had a black eye prior to our sparring and then had another one the next day from our session. no schooling there, i even felt bad about the black eye because it was not on purpose.

And i am an old man in terms of boxing, the older you get the harder it is to make weight, keep your timing, speed etc.

Your mentions of the league state title are cheap, its been explained i didnt do any training for that fight in over a year, why are you just twisting sht and telling half truths in here? your agenda becomes clearer and clearer by the day you grub.

If i dont agree nor approve with tents why the hell would i fight inside one you rekon? bloody mug not to mention both blair and Ben are way above the division i fight in and would not come down to my weight, your just pissing in the wind here JB.

If Blair can come down to 67kg id accomidate him on a real pro fight, not some tent azz wannabe 1000 wins bullsht, do it the real way or not at all.

If you reckon you did well in that spar against the Aussie tourist put the video up here for all to judge. The only thing you felt bad about the following day was your own estrogen-laden performance. And your spar with Birchy was a friendly spar with an agreement that you two wouldn't go hard against one another. I have no doubt that had he wanted to Birchy could've put you away within a round.

The old man excuse is a bull**** one. How is it most of the guys you take great pleasure in putting **** on like Mundine, Green, Soliman and Hamden (just to name a few) are older than you and are still willing to fight and do 12 rounds? ****, you're petrified of a 4 rounder.

As for your "effort" in the League state title, how is it that you could even fight for a state title first up after having not fought for over a year? Isn't this the sort of circumstance you're always :neutral: about when others are concerned, ie. when a guy is offered an undeserved title fight?

Why would you fight in a tent? To prove a point. You reckon that the tent fighters are hopeless and specifically put **** on Blair. Ben told you he'd be happy to meet you in a ring or tent. You wouldn't take Ben up on the challenge. You've been offered a tent fight with Blair but have come up with more excuses. You wouldn't get much more than $1,000 for a 4x3min pro debut and would now get close to that (after what's been offered in this thread by a few posters) for a 3x1min tent fight, yet you're using money as an excuse. As for weight you and Ben fought a number of times (as you like to remind us), and Blair also fought in that weight division. Your stunted growth shouldn't be an excuse not to fight.

He has had a few, you have had how many, huh, cant hear you sweetheart.

You may have boxed as an amatuer plenty of us have, plenty but you are not a FIGHTER, if you ever were those days are long gone, so lets forget your forgetable career and move on

 

The argument about never having a pro fight doesnt work guys, look at all the great trainers who trained world champions and they never steped foot inside a ring. People are entitled to opnions and they dont have to have had a pro fight in order to do so, ESB forums are living proof of that and you bunch of azzhats lol

The only video footage taken was when i sparred a few thais.

As for the Danny Green comparision, Danny was suffering from over training and cooking under the lights, he was spewing up water, couldnt hold it down, was delisional etc. I spewed because i wasnt fit, i held it in until i got back to Bens changeroom and then let it all out, plenty of people spew even when they are fit, ive seen guys spew before a bout from pure nerves. People throw up for all sorts of reasons but its a bit childish to be making fun of it constantly like JB is, its not like i throw up in every fight, nor does Danny Green, why make a big song and dance about it, having you ever thrown up before lol?

 

Outback boxing entrepreneur awarded OAM

Outback tent boxing entrepreneur Fred Brophy is literally the last man standing.

Hailing from a time when boxing troupes camped in sideshow alley to call for amateur pugilists to fight, Brophy's outback fight club spectacle is said to be the last in the world.

"There was over 30 boxing tents when I started out, and now I'm the last one left, and I can't see an end in sight as people still want to see us," Mr Brophy, 58, told AAP.

"It's the greatest thing that has ever happened to me in my life," Mr Brophy told AAP.

"To think people think I am worthy of this leaves me very humble."

Mr Brophy, who has seven siblings, says his family has been in the boxing and circus game for four generations - his mother was a trapeze artist and his father worked for a circus.

He started boxing at five and kept at it for about 20 years before crossing over to run and own his own troupe.

One of his eight children, Levi, still pulls on the gloves when his tents are travelling the outback each year.

"We don't go out there to knock anyone down, just to put on a show," Mr Brophy said.

"When I was a kid they used to throw pennies and halfpennies into the ring. Now they throw dollar coins and five, 10 and 20 dollar notes."

Mr Brophy, who owns the Cracow Hotel in central Queensland and one at Kilkivan outside Gympie, pitches his tent at the Birdsville races each year as the main auction ring to raise money for the Royal Flying Doctor Service and local community groups.

"The finale of our tours is always Birdsville, and it's where all the retired boxers come back and we have a reunion," Mr Brophy said.

"We'll be there again this year."

Along side Jimmy Sharman, he's a future Aussie HoF stand out.

 

I didn't say I had the footage; only that I'd seen it. It was shown to me and I was laughing so much it didn't cross my mind that I should copy it. If you really want I'll chase it up and post it on a special youtube channel in your honour.

What has been the hold up for you to put up the spars of you with Thais? You put up a few selected screen-shots and said that you'd post the videos shortly, yet we're still waiting.

What was i wearing or what color box or gloves did i have on or has that slipped your memory lol? Or how about the so called novice, what did he look like?
