    What were some times when a fighter was outboxing a fighter who was considered a master boxer, or was considered hard to outbox?

    Tommy Hearns outboxed both Leonard (in their welterweight showdown) and Benitez (at light middleweight) when they were considered among the best boxers on the planet ... although Leonard stopped Hearns late.

    Most at the time thought Hearns could only win by KO.

    People either forget or weren't alive then but when Hearns took over the Leonard fight in the middle rounds and began comprehensively outboxing Sugar Ray ... and Ray had to resort to being the puncher ... it was a huge shock.

    No one called that.
