Stylistically, Hearns is an extremely hard fight for Duran. Hearns has tremendous power, so it's very difficult to get inside, at least until Hearns begins to tire. Duran's plan seemed to be to box Hearns on the outside, but unfortunately for Duran, it didn't pan out the way he had imagined. On another night, perhaps it would have worked. Either way, you would have to mix in boxing with periods of fighting or it's unlikely Duran could win a decision or by KO.
Maybe not master boxer, but Maidana-Broner comes to mind. I'd say Trinidad-Whitaker too, but to be honest, Sweet Pea was way past his prime. Samething with Morales-Raheem. Whitaker and El Terrible would beat both in their better days.
