IF you think Cotto is near Floyd Technically, then you are holding onto cotto's nuts way too hard. Cotto fought similar opponents and gets busted up and hurt. Did Cotto hurt Margo? No. Cotto had to win on points which is something that he is not as good at as Floyd. Seems like people are really underating Floyd's skills.

Not even close , he was still learning . Cotto is improving his skill as a boxer, I thought he would have enough to beat margarito but his skills just were not quite just there yet.

If your going to move that much you can't load up on every shot, cotto did just that , he loaded and threw everything he had into every shot and along with the constant movement exhausted himself, and when it was time to stand and deliver he had nothing left , he couldn't move and he couldn't fight back.

Floyd on the other hand is use to fighting like that with fighter putting presser on him, every fight he's in a fighter tries to pressure him and he adapts. he pick and choses his shots unlike cotto who is not use being pressured naturally reacted by hitting margarito with some thing hard enough to keep Margarito off of him ..

Floyd knows that he can't KO margarito, but he can touch margarito to the soloplexes enough to slow him down some what to regroup (a shot the floyd is really good using his jab and straight right) and then use angles to confuse margarito who buy the way didn't really cut off the ring cotto.

Another big difference is there mind set , cotto was very uncomfortable being pressure where Floyd is totally relaxed and is able to see everything coming at him..

Margo aint dumb brother, he knew what he was doing in there. It looked like he has no timing but he was landing those body shots right on TIME! but most were just looking at the head shots missing (like the HBO commentators). And in the 8th, when he felt the TIME was right, he told his trainer,
"...ya estoy list y lo quier nocquiar... lo voy a nocquiar!" translation
"...im ready and i want to knock him out... im going to knock him out..."

He paced himself and turned up the pressure on TIME! I'd say he's got decent timing:hey

FM by UD. Easy fight for him. But all i see in this fight would be straight right hands all night by floyd and quick uppercuts. FM getting him to commit on his punches and slipping away and then at the same time firing his trademark straight right as the opponent turns around. Easy payday for FM. (IMO)

by no way is this gonna be easy for floyd sure he might win but he's gonna get hit and get hit hard. Theres nothing floyd could to do to hurt margo. I would say margo either tkos him, or floyd runs himself to decision loss, or his uncle comes into the ring to help him with tony and gets floyd dq'd.

See this is what I'm saying. Where the **** were you before this fight telling us that Cotto was not that good and he would get stopped?

You didn't say a damn thing until Margarito stopped him. So now in hindsight it's easy to say Cotto isn't that good. That's bull**** is what it is.

Zab didn't get Cotto once on the canvas. He DID knock Mayweather down. That is a fact. Mosley is at least as good as DLH and SDs are SDs. And Margarito is a helluva lot better than Baldomir, so Cotto has that in spades for taking the fight.

As far as I'm concerned Cotto has proven himself to be the better welterweight. Better than Floyd Mayweather. At least he did his talking in the ring!

do you Floyd fans honestly belive that Mayweather can take
the type of damage it would take to defeat an Antonio Margarito.
(Floyd would not be able to withstand Williams or Cotto type damage)

In order to win, you have to be willing to stand and fight.
it's not in Mayweather's nature (As a WW) to Fight.
(PBF is not active enough to win a fight, his combo's are gone
he only throw's 1 punch at a time now, sad but true.)

HMMM..You sure about that? It would be a DLH fight all over again, but I dont think (imo) that AM has the defense that DLH has. I mean AM was getting hit with jabs flush and clean by cotto...by cotto...and im not taking nothing away from cotto im just saying basically that if cotto could hit him with them shots that he hit em with, it would be 10 times easier considering FM hands speed and precise boxing. That straight right FM throws would connect early and often throughout the fight.

Oh FM might not hurt him but his face would be easy target practice for FM.

Not neccessarily. FM throughout his whole career has perfected the true art of boxing...hit and not get hit....some people would i guess call that running. But in all actuallity FM uses precise accuracy in his punching and sweet footwork. Boxing is not all about standing there and banging for 12 rnds. Although that is what the fans would love to see. Which is a great example of why MMA is so popular. But back to the point...

FM manipulates the ring and the opponents well which is why he rarely ever gets hit flush or cleanly, also might i mention his slippery defense. And the "one" punch your referring to is his straight right hand that has amazing accuracy and is intended to off balance his opponents, so he can manipulate the ring and his opponent. All that is is just the sweet science of boxing. IMO
