    Australia is a Christian State...

Like alot of the Middle East/Asia and African countries are Islamic states..You can go around flying other religious flags there but you will more then likely get the chop..My girls Lebenese christian and two of my best mates are Asyrian(iraq) christians and them and their families were treated as lowly minorities in their respective homelands.Hence why they are now here..

Allowing the Islamic Religion to spread its wings within this country aint a good idea..

I aint rascist im a realists.Im scared for the future of Australia..

Don't be. People were saying the same thing when the Greeks, Italians and Turks moved here after WWII. Many were saying the same when the Vietnamese came across as well. She'll be right mate...

Absolutely, and race and religion are often hand in hand. No doubt your relatives were branded Fenians and had their Popery decried at some point. I'm sure it's all a storm in a tea cup mate.

Islam spread it's wing in the United States during the 60s and 70s and they were a lot more radical than anything that's going on here today. I don't think it's affected the United States adversly at all...

All this controversy with Mundine and Islam will end if someone can step up and unify the Catholic and Jewish titles. Then they will be crowned "Super Catholic" champion, which will allow Mundine to win the "Regular" Catholic title.

Ah, no it isn't, it is secular, which consequently allows people to pursue whatever stupid religious views they want.
Christianity is just as silly, all religion is, there is no reason to single out Islam, even considering the selective pieces of terrorism used to provoke such responses.

Much like Mundien cries foul and maintain crticism is becasue he's Aboriginal or becuase he's Muslim, but it's because he is full of **** and acts like a wanker. it has nothign to do with either his race or religion.

Hey Oz - any idea what religion the Deputy Prime Minister of Iraq until the US invasion (Tariq Aziz) was? He was Catholic.

This is just a tangential rant: Iraq was one of the last Arabic countries to be secular and to actively protect and ensure the religious freedoms to it's Christians. But our governments ****ing lie to us and try and convince us that it was supporting a fundamentalist Islamic terror cell?????

Any fear or oppression the Assyrian Christians had in Iraq was often at the hands of the Kurds who we were all meant to be pitying in the west.

It's like if you mention the PLO from Palestine we've been brainwashed to assume they are fundy Muslims but their spokesperson for years was a Christian woman - it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out this doesn't add up, but even an educated man like myself who grew up with Muslims that treated me as family (despite being Irish Catholic) can still get angry and fearful when watching the news......so if I have to check myself what chance do others have????
