You were too generous I had given Valuev the 7th and the 8th was even on my card the 11th and 12th I dont know how you gave him those rounds when Evander clearly landed the sharper shots.
I thought Valuev won the fight. He was a disgrace but still did more than Holyfield over the twelve. After the fourth Holyfield did absolutely nothing. I think alot of people just stopped watching after the third and convinced themselves that Holy was winning rounds regardless of what was unfolding in the ring. Remember - Valuev was the aggressor. That may have turned very close rounds in his favour.
Make-up rounds. Those were the ones I thought I was being generous. I thought they were closer than you did, I think, but I surely would not quibble with anyone scoring them for Evander.
That's a ballsy thing to say. Couldn't agree less, but ballsy. If I gave rounds for walking forward, I'd have had Holmes-Cobb a draw.
No, Holyflied won 4 or 5 of the first 6 and Valuov won 4 or 5 of the last 6, so a draw was possible, (as one judge saw...once judge was blind as normal....and one judge had a one point up for Valuov.... and a one point win for Valuov is as I saw it....a bit of running is one thing, trying to do a marathon....plus Champion bonus was the difference. Holy ran just a bit too much for a bit too long. IMO. I swear Holy looked 35 in face and body. He did much better than I expected. As for having rose colored glasses on you have rose colored glasses on...and I'd hoped for Holy....
He was the aggressor in rounds that both guys did NOTHING. I can understand the judges giving him those rounds. He also won the last round clearly.
Terrible decision, I had Holyfield up by 3 - 4 rounds. Not much action but a brilliant tactical fight by Holyfield. Hopefully he will retire now, because even though he was robbed this was not the worst way to get out.
I wonder if Valuev even trained for this fight, he looked like he didn't care at the press conference, he looked like he didn't care at the weigh-in, and he definitely didn't care when he was in the ring.
I was watching this fight until my stream stoped at the end of the 5th , I had it 5 rounds to nothing and from what I heard it was much of the same, but be honest its better that it did freeze up on me cause if I was looking for some history and saw him get robbed live, i might if broke my TV, cause I'm quite loud when I see a fighter get F'ed over.....I was pissed I was going to miss history.....but I'm glad I missed Robbery poor Holyfield, he would have got one heck of a payday next, from what ive been hearing, this decison is worse then Forman vs Briggs :-(
Your fight fan card is being revoked. There was a half dozen rounds that I don't think Valuev even LANDED a shot. The only thing Valuev won clearly tonight was the ugly contest.
Exactly most were slipped or blocked or Valuev simply missed all together, most of the people here that have scored it close obviously watched it on a webcast with loads of lag and not a very clear picture.
