It is hilarious to hear people claim flop when Manny or Floyd do under 1 million, but name the last fight to do over 1 million ppv without these 2 involved...seems people are getting spoiled when they say 600k-900k is a flop

Shot in the dark here.....Oscar vs. Mosley?

I know that Cotto vs. Margarito fell in the range you gave. But neither of those guys had the huge guarantees that Floyd and Pac have.

Just hazarding a guess here, but I think that's probably why thread starter said outside of Manny and Floyd.

    I COULD BE WRONG!

See how far back ya'll have to dig? so posters on here trying to celebrate if a fighter does 600-900k like its a flop is ridiculous.hell how many fights outside of them even did over 500k?

It definitely passed 1 million. There was about a decade between that and Floyd/Oscar, and I'm not sure if anything in there sold over a million.

Are you responding to the Bradley vs JMM PPV thread by chance with this question?

According to this it was Oscar/Hopkins

    http://boxing.about.com/od/history/a/payperview.htm
    15. Felix Sturm (6/04) 380,000 buys = $19.0 million
    16. Bernard Hopkins (9/04) 1 million buys = $56.0 million
    17. Ricardo Mayorga (5/06) 935,000 buys = $46.3 million
    18. Floyd Mayweather Jr. (5/07) 2.15 million buys = $120.0 million

but I remember Mayweather/Oscar doing 2.4 million so I'm not sure

It's only *******s/Pacturds that are making a big deal out of it. They think Floyd will be affected if the ppv isn't over 1 million but Floyd is making 32,000,000 Dollars for 36 min or less every fight while the *******s/Pacturds have to work 20-40 years of their life assuming they have a good paying job of $50,000 a year just to make 1-2 million dollars and that's before expenses and taxes.
