Shane Mosley has to be up there. He's a genuinely likeable guy. Even with the roids accusations.

Don't know about today but from the recent era, Barrera was really popular.

    The KLITSCHKO'S?!?!?!

    What the hell???

Obviously popular in Russia and Germany, but where else? Waldos universally despised for being the most boring HW Champion of all time. Vitalli's inactive and old. They're despised in Britain and America. Cant see Mexican or Filipinos getting on their bandwagon either.

They're a disgrace. How on earth can anyone say they're next in line?

Barrera was reviled. He had some hardcore support, but he was largely reviled, especially in Mexico. Mexicans, and most of thge world loved his nemesis Morales.

If your thinking of the crowd response the Khan fight that's simply because he was a legend. The fans knew how lucky they were getting to see one of the true legends of the sport.

Respected for his skills sure, really popular no chance
