Boxing is looking grim especially after these few fights that Pacquiao and Vasquez and both Marquez brothers have left, what is left with the sport?
    HWs suck balls

Cruiser weights are fun but we dont get to see enough of them

The middleweights suck seriously Taylor is gonna get his ass knocked out by Pavlik and move up to super middleweight so Calzaghe can beat his ass.

But honestly boxing has very little left to offer us in the near future I mean any time you have to dig Vargas out from the grave something is wrong, each time Holyfield puts on a good performance against a limited fighter, and gets praised for it something is wrong.

I dont know what is going to happen next year but right now its not looking promising perhaps thats just me getting old who knows.

Super Featherweight is alive and jumping. We have even more fresh talent coming in from Cuba now into the 118-130 range in Guillermo Rigondeaux. The heavyweights are stepping towards unification and there are good prospects there. Cruiserweight is getting more notice, especially with David Haye over in the UK and the possibility for many exciting fights amongst the top 10. Welterweight is the ****. Light Heavyweight could be quite good, with Chad Dawson, Tarver for the moment, Zsolt Erdei over in Germany, Paul Briggs, and others. Super Middle is getting all together this November. So honestly, I think boxing is alive and doing great in 2007.

Actually, I feel optimistic about the future!!! All we need is to see the trend of competitive fights being made continue.

I think 30 and 35 can produce some very good fights, The 60,68, and 76 will blend together with some good matchup's, and hell if the HW's even could make it at least watchable with Chagaev vs Ibragimov, Maskaev vs Peter, and hopefully Klitschko getting on the winners.

Half Full vs Half Empty, I guess but the WW and MW/SMW/LH pictures are exciting enough if they keep putting em together.

Actually Boxing is coming back, the Heavyweight titles are about to be unified. Light heavy is good with the hype of Jones, the excitement of Dawson also names like Tarver and Hopkins. Now the middleweights are alright not that great. Welterweight is the deepest division with Mosely, Mayweather, Hatton, Cotto etc. Lightweights are pretty good with the Juan and Julio Diaz there is also Kastadis Raheem and Casamayor. Featherweights have been pretty active. I would say that it is not that grim outside of the Welterweight division.
