Outside of Wladimir Klitschko, who is the best one-punch KO artist at HW today?

But you are being naive if you think haye didn't "feel" the power of price in sparring?....Hayes EGO would prevent him from saying price has better power!

  2. Power is more than size, speed, technique and timing are very important factors.

And accuracy is very important for KOs too.

Apart from size, Haye takes everything else and by some way.

And Haye has proven he is the bigger puncher.

Price has to earn his stripes.

You shouldn't look just at weight as many of Wlad's opponents are fat bums. You should look at height and reach. Obviously that's not Wlad's fault but just the way it is

Yet another superb post from ESB's best new member. :good:happy

There is no doubt that Leif Larsen is the hardest hitter on this list. In terms of raw power nobody can match the greatest athlete of all time.

I also feel Audley Harrison deserves a mention. His KO of Michael Sprott was the most beautifully timed, devastating KO I have ever seen.

Furthermore, Lucas Browne is an extremely hard hitter. He is not very well known but will make his name soon - 13-0 with 12 KOs speaks for itself. Here he is blasting out a very durable journeyman who drew with Albert Sosnowski a few months earlier in just 44 seconds.

I voted Price, i think speed and his combinations make Haye the most dangerous puncher, but on a one punch KO i'd say Price

Can I make "is" a past tense?
Because the left hook from Morrison made the left hook from frazier look like a mosquito bite, shame he wasn't as complete as frazier.

Haye is a counter puncher he has a very strong punch yes, never denied.
But a lot of his power is also in the opponents when they move towards him.(and he uses their momentum)
Vitali doesn't have 1 punch KO power, so bad comparison.
His kos are accumulation of destruction.

    Wlad fought Peter in 2005.

Helenius fought Peter in 2011 in his last ever fight.

Wladimir rematched Peter in late 2010 and Helenius' KO of Peter in the fight after was much more convincing, devastating and, most of all, it took one-punch.:deal:hi:

"SOT" stopped Danny Williams with a slap--a SLAP! Who else could do this? :think:hey:deal

Audley does have devastating power, I agree. His KO of Sprott was frightening. :dead

  14. Dereck Chisora would disagree

If you don't factor-in quality-of-opposition, then the order is pretty clear to me:

    Wilder
    Helenius
Boytsov (I put him above Price as he can do it with both hands)
    Price
    Wlad.

But factor in experience (at HW, not CW) and you get:

    Wlad
    Helenius

Then who the **** knows? .........
