I have my doubts about that they probably gave tickets away or sold them for a song and a dance. But even still NYC metro area population is of over 19,000,000 so selling out a 20,000 seat arena isn't that impressive when you think about it.:deal

I think before the fight I've voted 200k in the poll as to how many PPV buys I expected, so 150k isn't really a let down for me. I'm not a GGG nuthugger by any means, I support every fighter who brings great action and that includes many US fighters as well i.e. Thurman, Porter, Bradley, Crawford, Spence Jr. Unlike you lot who hate on everyone who's not an American. Ward's only fight since he returned was a LHW bout and I've never heard he planned moving down to 160. So whatever weight he suggested the fight to be at and how the purse would be shared is unknown. Without knowing all this, saying "GGG didn't want to fight Ward" is simply choosing a side in this and nothing else. I could say "Ward is scared to fight GGG" and it'd be as pointless as what you say, so I won't. Unless Ward's team proposed to fight GGG at 160, which I'm pretty sure they didn't, there's no ducking either way.

 

I do realize how stupid you sound when you say this fight was going to be a great fight co-signed the comparison to Hagler-Hearns and should be on PPV now the numbers are released and it was a cruel joke like I and others said.
