If that's the road you go down then tell Ward to stop ducking Stevenson,he's called him out on air a few times and why need these tune ups surely if he's that great,he should be going straight into a Kovalev fight, shouldn't he?

 

Let's be clear: GGG didn't want to fight Ward in 2016 for 50% of the purse. 2016 is slated for getting two remaining MW belts. After Golovkin gets them, bum-fighting Ward should be happy to get 25% of the purse against Golovkin.

More importantly, Ward himself has never wanted to fight GGG. They knew that their "offer" couldn't be accepted, just wanted publicity.

 

Do we even know what weight was proposed? If it was 168, it's obviously a no-no. I can't really comment on whether 50/50 would be fair but it'd be perfectly reasonable if GGG didn't want 168 just like Ward wouldn't take 160.

 

This Pimp C guy is just a delusional hater. A lot of these folks don't want GGG to be successful for whatever reason and their bias is as clear as day. Most of them are Floyd fans, which is interesting considering the kind of hate he received. It's similar to a child who is abused and grows up to be an abuser - the psychology that is. Just give GGG the love he deserves and enjoy the ride. When he eventually moves up and KO's Ward it's gonna be sweet. On that day, we will drink of these haters' tears.

I'm telling it like it is dummy don't get mad at me because I want to see the best fighting the best. You're okay with GGG never fighting an elite fighter in over 30 fights and ducking Ward but I'm not. Why in the hell wouldn't you want to see that fight if you're a boxing fan? The reason why you don't want to see it is because you're not really a boxing fan but rather of fan of GGG and like nothing more than to see him get win over win over no hopers and C level guys so you can at the end of the day call him the GOAT at MW without ever facing one elite.

I'm a Ward fan he's undefeated and more accomplished than GGG he takes challenges and is about to fight a monster in Kovalev some time next year in a fight he has a good chance of losing. If I was a fan boy like you I wouldn't want that fight and just want Ward to stay at 168 and pad his resume. I realize that Kovalev-Ward is good for the sport and needs to happen me liking Ward doesn't outweigh my desire to see a great fight that's the difference between guys like me and nuthugging fakes like yourself I can keep it real.:deal

Here's the thing though, Gennady Golovkin Vs Quillin, Jacobs, Cotto, Canelo or anybody else who is willing to weigh in at 160 is just as big of a farce, so you might try to get used to the one sided awesome beatdowns👍🏼
