Over all...i now just depressed about this sh.it storm...

    ****en worst sport to be a fan of ...i swear i love and hate boxing.

    Every day I look at my local paper and its filled with **** about football....page after page of a sport thats organized, under one body and run with integrity. Why couldnt I be hooked on a sport like that?

    Boxing has by its very nature what it takes to be one of the most popular sports on on the planet but we aren't even considered main stream now days...how the **** did that happen??? Cant even see the **** on TV without some leaching PPV company and greedy promoter fleece you for every cent they can get...***** ass fighters that hide behind ****en lame ass excuses for everything but a broken fingernail...

    **** me.... where are the warriors who give a **** about what the fans (namely us who fund their ****ing super star salaries) think and feel.

    Manny take the test and Floyd just step into the ring....

    I agree completely. I'm jealous that hardcore NFL, NBA, and MLB fans get to see a structured product where the best always play the best on a consistent basis.

    As boxing fans, even though we deserve that, we don't even ask for that much. All we ask for is that every couple years a truly great fight be made. This fight was one of those rare fights that ALL boxing fans ask for. And what happens? Once again we get a slap in the face and will be asked to pay to see Pac/Foreman and Mayweather/Hatton instead, absolute shyt matchups that make it embarrassing to tell your friends that you are a boxing fan.

    And what will we do as fans? Instead of blaming everyone involved, we'll just pick sides and continue to support our favourite fighter (either Floyd or Pac), thus allowing the powers that be (Arum and GBP) to continue to dress up turds and sell them to us. Sad, sad, sad.

    Good post. Boxing is the best sport and we must stay loyal to it! Despite the problems, there are lots of great fighters today and great matchups.
