Nah that was a savage/historical performance. Nothing overrated about it. Marciano against a bunch of 40 year old HW's on the other hand.
Lou Arreola vs Mitchell. It was nice to see hype job Mitchell exposed but it was blown out of proportion a bit. That might be a bit harsh because Arreola didn’t have many notable wins and his best showing was the fight he Was made to cry against Vitali (Poor Tubby) but it’s just the truth. I did love his failed push up celebration after KOing the football crossover though.
Look at the film of Willard vs Johnson and then Willard vs Dempsey. Jess was only a shell of his former self when he fought Dempsey.
Any fighter that claims a big win over post-Tarver, Roy Jones Jr. I don't know why it seems like Jones took the highest and hardest fall from grace in boxing history after that one loss. This content is protected
Duran’s punushing win over Davey Moore was blown out of proportion. Moore was a novice by comparison. And the ref should have had a make Duran great again hat on that night!
Quintana over a then undefeated Joel Julio. OK, well I was one of the few who over rated him. Julio was the up n coming next beast per HBO. While Carlos was VERY impressive first fight with Paul Williams, he proved to be the predecessor to Jore Linares; a boxer that tears up like a Wal-mart product. Ismayl Silakh over undefeated Yordanis despaigne. His boxed a sweet fight on ESPN.....weak chin, totally overrated victory hyped on ESPN
Roy Jones shows how fickle fans can be. The man shutout James Toney and went from MW to HW. But once he started losing everybody turned their back on him. Disgraceful.
