as some may no ive turned to coachin to help out my friend and old coach but hes a pro coach an we have loadsa talented kids come in but cant fight for us so i stared coachin them well thers 4 main lads wer desparate to get fights that i do extra work with whilst the other coach is with his pro's the other day a kid from another gym came in who'd had a couple of fights he'd heard that they were all unboxed an coached by someone not much older than them so anyway he comes in sayin how he's gonna knock are lads out a bit nervous i let him spar the most talented who was a bit lighter than him well the kid came out through a massive (but sloppy) right hand, then are lad just rolled it the bang left hook the kid is on his arse an the lad ive been training has just demolished a kid with well more experience but not coaching
ahh same here then, how long have you been boxing for? And i believe you have been coaching for about a month?
woah 15? most coaches have been doin it for 15 years, i think you got alot more to learn b4 you try and apply it to others.
I don't have a problem with people coaching young, some are more inclined to it than they are talented at whatever they are coaching. I'm 19 and expect that I'd be a terrific coach, where as I see myself being decent (at best)at actually boxing. You don't always need to know as much as you think to be a good coach. It's just like when you criticize pros for ****ing something up, but if you were in their situation you would do 1000 times worse.
im always being monitered by a pro coach and he keeps teachin me an i watch him with his pros so im constantly learnin but i have been since i was very young the only reason i didnt fight younger was because me mum wouldnt let me:yep
