Pretty simple. How many fights will it take for David Haye to get knocked out as a HW?

I say 3. He plans two fights against two top 10 guys. im assuming he means guys ranked by any of the 4 organizations so he will choose judiciously. The delusion ends against Wlad in '09. :p

However, I do feel Haye will recover and become a mainstay in the division.

    What do you say?

Depends on his opposition of course, but seeing as how he is wasting no time (running his mouth to good opponents) I would say under

And yes I do think he will be a mainstay in the division. He is actually just what the HW division needs; an exciting, powerful guy

    It is a certainty.

Just a matter of when, and who he can take out first.

I reckon it wont be anyone that good, just a solid fighter who is bigger and able to take Haye's early shots.
But Haye is good enough to knock off some of the better fighters in the division with low punch resistance and who are much more cumbersome.
He may well beat someone pretty good but come back and lose to someone unexpectedly.

You act like its a matter of fact that its gonna happen. Tbh i wouldn't bet against it, but to state it as fact when it hasn't even happened shows that your an idiot.

people seem quick to forget that the current HW champ also has a very suspect chin and in such a weak era I doubt there's really much difference on the night between a cruiser and heavy hitting you. Heavyweight is at an all time talent low, crusier considering its the ******* division of boxing is doing okay, so I think more is being made out of the chin issue that should be. Wlad's survived so far and pretty well

If he fights the best, as he says he will, I'll give him massive respect, whether he wins or loses.

ESPN had Holyfield vs Bowe II on last night, and if Haye can bring back even a little bit of that type of excitement, then I'm a fan for as long as he can go.

Exactly : Purrity, Sanders and Brewster all scrambled Wladimir and they are hardly a f**kin whos who of the greatest Heavies of this generation ( in fact are they even still fighting ??) At least Haye got beat by someone whos toughness is legendary not a journeymen or fat semi retired golfers !

Ross Purrity's toughness is well noted and Sander's power is well noted especially early in fights. I'd venture to say Brewster is about as tough as they come & he has some serious power as well since he KO'd Golota so easily.

What was your point again? If it was that the guy who KO'd Haye is considered "tougher" than Brewster, Sanders & Purrity I'd have to say you're touching yourself......................

The only guy I think will KO him is Wlad (maybe Vitali if he really makes a come back).

He'll have half a dozen top scalps before he is stopped. He has the speed, skill and power to beat anyone at the division though and that includes Wlad.
