And still, he threw something like 50-60 punches a round over all 12 rounds. Vitali Klitschko always looked tired too, but had an equally high workrate. Chambers didn't look very tired, but he threw only like 30-40 punches a round. It's about what you do, not how you look.

His power is okay, and so is jab IMO,but his leaky defense makes me think.
Wlad has the power and the skills to dismantle Povetkin, and a murderous banger like Virchis just needs one of his devastating haymakers to take Povetkin out.Povetkin is a great fighter and worthy of Wlad'steel, but his defense is his weak spot.Thats for sure!

    Nothing wrong with Vlad's chin.

Povetkin was a fantastic amateur, but needs more pro experience. He is not ready for Vlad.

I didn't see the fight, but it does sound like Povetkin didn't exactly impress and amaze.

And while his cumulative shots were enough to TKO Byrd, maybe Povetkin is not the powerful puncher most thought he was.

This perfromance, while a win, is turning out to be somewhat of a letdow, as he didn't get that all important TKO, or KO, and was apparently in a fairly close matchup in Chambers.

Either Povetkin is worse than we thought, or Chambers is better than we thought. I think its a bit of both, but either way, Wlad takes Povetkin's head, CLEAN OFF within five.

I've seen two Povetkin fights, this one and the Byrd fight... and I just can't see what the hype is about. Boxing pundits claiming this guy to be the next big thing in the HW division.. :huh I simply don't see it. Personally, I think he's very one-dimensional...

And his physique... is just unacceptable for a professional athlete. I'm impressed he can throw a lot of punches and is quite active for a chubby guy... but c'mon.. Wlad's gonna destroy this kid. It's going to to be UGLY

Povetkin is pretty good, Definetly a top 10 heavyweight. But is that really saying much with how horrible the division is? He throws alot of punches for a heavyweight and he has pretty good hand speed and throws some good body shots. His defense is horrible and that's something he has to work on if he wants to be a champion unless he has an iron chin. He's still young and just starting his career off its not his fault alot of people are hyping him up. Give him a couple of years and see if he progresses.

Stammina is one of Povetkin's strong points...so don't see what that poster blasting his stammina is talking about.

Rest is in line, against most that I've seen him fight, he was the faster man. I was very surpirsed how very very fast Eddy's hands were ...too bad he got no legs.

Povetkin is an amteur, not a profi.
