OVERALL: Who had a better chin, Ricky Hatton or Timothy Bradley?

I'm not convinced Ricky survives provodnikov or holt

 

The Provodnikov fight alone made me vote Tim.

 

Bradley went to war (for no reason) with Provodnikov and won, was catching flush shots from Pac over 36 rounds, got absolutely melted and disconnected from reality by Kendall Holt (early and late) and still won dominantly. Bradley's chin took some hurricane force winds but the dam never broke.

 

Change Bradley's defense and fighting style to 100% identical as Ricky's, Tim would have gotten KO'ed himself.

 

Very clearly Bradley, and that is no slight on Hatton.

 

Bradley was floored twice by Holt and was on the verge of being stopped by Provodnikov and Vargas in the last round of both fights. And had both fights been 30 more seconds he probably would've been stopped.

Both have shown some vulnerabilities in fights it's hard to compare because Hatton fights very aggressively and sometimes walks on to punches. For example Mayweather is not a big puncher but Hatton walked straight into his check left hook which made the impact far worse.

On paper you'd have to give the edge to Bradley though because hes never been stopped and well I guess he did better vs a common opponent in Pacquiao.

 

He also took big shots from Marquez and wasn't hurt.
