Both of them are overrated. None of them had done enough to be in top of the top.

    Davis.

His craft is much more refined than many on here are willing to acknowledge.

Bivol is a good fighter, but he's not nearly as naturally gifted as Tank.

Easily Dmitry Bivol. Most casuals don’t even know him, while he’s of a similar P4P ranking to Tank (somewhere outside of the top 3)

On the flip side, many people think Tank is the P4P king, when he simply isn’t at this point in time.. he could be, but the resume just ain’t there.

Ironically, a proper rating for them both would probably be similar to one another, ie grouped up with the next best guys after Usyk, Inoue, and Crawford.

Both have elite skills. If we're talking just skills and ability and not resume and accomplishments, I'd say both are P4P top 10 talents.

Twink hasn't ever fought anyone truly elite of course whereas, conversely, Bivol dominated the then P4P#1. But I think Twink's combination of power, speed and skills combine to make him elite. He passes the eye test but his best win in an 11 year career is still Pedraza.

Bivol has a better resume beating way better fighters, one of which was a top 5 P4P, while Tank arguably is more skilled (though he also gets hit more) his resume is way worse. So depends on what you value I would say Bivol overall but I'm a bit biased there.

I think Bivol's skills were criminally underrated by many for a long time. He is one of the best defensive fighters in the entire sport, literally getting hit less than anyone else for a number of years, but not once would we ever hear his name mentioned in that regard.

I do think many underrate Twink's skills because of his power but I've always given him credit for his skills too despite the fact he's never proven them against a truly elite fighter

And we saw the exact same thing happen with GGG, Kovalev, Beterbiev. They couldn't box according to so many but the many were proven badly wrong

People can't do that with Loma because his skill level is off the charts and higher than any current fighter but look at how many completely dismissed Usyk's chances at HW, FTR that's the current undisputed HW king Usyk?

We saw the same thing happen just the other week with Madrimov. He was easy work for Crawford and was getting knocked out but tit didn't play out like that at all and these people genuinely believed he would be much bigger than Crawford whereas I told everyone that was not going to be the case and worst case scenario they would be the same size as each other

My point being that I know elite skills when I see them

Tank is probably more overrated but he often gets sold short

It's easy to look real when you're avoiding the best.

The difference here is that Bivol does look real good against serious opponents... And Tank looks real good against mediocrities.

Tank gets massively overrated despite his poor resume.
Bivol if anything gets underrated because he lacks power - his skills are enough to succeed regardless.

Bivol. At least he's fought someone like Canelo. Tank is still avoiding his peers

For sure it is but I do think he has elite skills or rather underrated skills + his combination of speed and power makes him elite

If we took away his brutal power and gave him Bivol's power instead (P4P obviously) how good would he be compared to Bivol? Bivol's skills are clearly superior for me
