We all know that wasn't legit.

He needed an overtime to beat him in first one, when it should've been declared a draw.

Bret's head clearly wasn't in it from the restart on.

I'm curious why you chose two of those?

Ray Leonards second win over Duran
    Glen Johnson over Roy Jones
Shane Mosley over Antonio Margarito (though I loved watching it)
    Pacquaio over DLH
Lewis over Tyson, it's by no means, his greatest victory

The general consensus suggests that Hamed was Barrera's best win and his best career performance. I disagree on both accounts. Hamed was already shown to be a flawed operator when he was bounced around the ring by Kevin Kelley, and also when Augie Sanchez had his share of success against the British showman. It's a very good win, one of the best of Marco's great career, but it wasn't Marco's magnum opus. The Mexican fought a better fighter in Erik Morales and beat him on two seperate occasions.

In regards to Pablo Cano, the win seems to have shifted Morales into legendary status. Granted, the win has brought him a 4th title, but the educated Boxing fan knows that the title is effectively meaningless given the level of opposition Morales had to defeat in order to earn it. If Morales has shifted to another level as a result of winning the title, then it's basically as a result of beating Cano - which is a nothing win on the grand scale.

Roy Jones over John Ruiz. Very good win, but not this career defining win that makes Roy the greatest fighter ever or the greatest fighter since...Leonard or whoever. Even with that hes still behind Whitaker and de la Hoya by that point.

I agree, though I may of been unclear, I was asking about Eriks win over Junior Jones, who was a solid fighter.

Junior Jones was a solid fighter, but he was coming off a knockout loss to Mckinney when he was defeated by Morales. Damaged goods. Not the fighter who had defeated Marco Antonio Barrera on two seperate occasions. People actually point to this fight as reasoning to why Morales should be ranked higher than Marco. Morales has a case, but this win has nothing to do with it.
