Well you are the one arguing with both medical science and common sense. These are not my claims, they are from the Journal of Steroid Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, maybe you should write to them and complain about how their years of medical research is unsubstantiated because Chael Sonnen sais so....

Either Chael has a legit medical condition, or the TRT therapy is needed to combat the amounts of PED's still present in his system. As the research shows that users of steriods can recover to a normal amount of testosterone with prolonged periods of being steroid free

But that just comes down to common sense and whom you chose to believe, science, or Chael

And with regards to the issue of being allowed to compete again, I personally think the UFC will be best suited to ban anyone who has been caught a second time whilst within the company roster from ever competing in the UFC again

 

Why quote that and make a such a huge post? That is evidence of nothing in this particular case. Sorry, but common sense, and speculation aren't enough to make someone guilty. The fact that you have to say that "Chael Sonnen either" is enough to make everything you posted garbage.

It wasnt a pointless post, it was highlighting that TRT is used by guys who are on PED's and that if someone wasnt using PED's their testosterone levels would return back to normal levels.

And it's not speculation, he was convicted of perjury by the CSAC. He claimed he told the commission of his use of TRT's on the day of the fight

So either

a) Sonnen has a genuine medical condition and needs TRT, and he accidentally had 17 times that of a normal man and more than four times higher than the allowed maximum for an athlete

b) Sonnen was at the time using PED's and needed the TRT to counteract the well know side effects of PED use in his system.

And studies indicate that if he was completely free of PED's in his system for a prolonged period, thus his testosterone levels would return to normal, eliminating the need for TRT

Quite simple to understand really, especially for a guy who claims he's more intelligent than any other poster on this sub forum

So if you want to believe the claims of a guy who's been convicted of both mortgage fraud and perjury, I think you seriously need to reassess your claims of intellectual superiority

 

He was an athlete on the international stage that was held to much more rigorous testing standards. No positives.

He has been competing in MMA and taking drug tests since he was 19. No positives

He has been on TRT, documented since 2008.

He was initially suspended for one year for pissing hot.

With the evidence at hand his suspension was shortened to 6 months.

He was suspended for POSSIBLE perjury and money laundering indefinitely.

There is no proof that he has been on steroids EVER.

Your entire post wreaks of dishonesty. He has been diagnosed with hypogonadism, and how he got that is meaningless if there is no history of PED abuse.

 

Well there is proof that he used steroids, as he was caught after the Silva fight, then charged with perjury due to his explanation

Sonnen claims, after he was caught, that the test result must have come from a natural steroid, which was quickly refuted. He then, after this, tried to claim that he has a history of hypogonadism and stated that he submitted the proper paper work to the commission, and that the commission ''couldnt find it'' and that the UFC's own Physician, Dr Davidson also testified that he hadnt disclosed Sonnens TRT for this condition like Sonnen claimed to the CSAC and the NSAC Head Keith Kizer also testified that Sonnens claims of personal disclosure to him regarding his TRT were also false...

Also Sonnen was charged and convicted in a court of law of money laundering and convicted to two years probation and fined $10 000

...and its been documented that Overeem simply enjoys horse meat.

Neither are guilty because we dont have video proof of either injecting steroids in their butt.

They both got caught, they both are guilty face the music.

But I find it odd that the TS acts as if their were hordes of deniers that overeem was doping. perhaps their were some, but few. most of us asked before condemning overeem(before he was caught doping), that they had evidece more than him gaining a lot of muscle mass in a short time (36 lbs in 25 months).

Now they have that evidence. And now we have to listen to posters act like they predicted the housing market crash.

The "I told you so" attitude is really quite annoying. I would not be surprised if ANY athlete was caught doping, even at the Special Olympics! thats just the times we live in. People behaving each time like its a shocker when a athlete gets caught cheating is really boring.

Scurlaruntings, has on a few occasions, posted a long list of MMA fighters who were caught using PED's. And remember thats just the fraction of cheaters that got caught! now we can add one more name to that list:good

Overeem should be suspended for a year, and if caught a second time should get a permanent ban from the ufc.

But it does suck that another fight is cancelled. This is just as bad as the cancellation of Barnett vs Fedor and just like that matchup JDS vs Overeem will probably never happen now.

It's just all a huge disappointing mess! this was a fight I was looking forward to. well I still got Silva vs sonnen. Of course first we have to get through injuries, then drug testing. Any given matchup I would give a 30% chance it gets postponed or never happens.

We live in ****ed up times....They should just legelize it and control it better.

Same thing with all drugs, it should all be legal.

It's because drug are illegal they are dangerous, you never really know what you get...

I have a huge rave party in 3 days, I will take speed ans XTC...but I don't know what I'm really going to take, I wish all those **** would be legal and then I would simply have to go to a drug store and just ask for amphetamine and MDMA with no bull**** in it and I know I would have one of the best night of the year with 100% safe drugs !!
