No, Coleman wouldn't beat a fighter in that tournament. However, that doesn't change the fact that Overeem is extremely overrated right now. The man has barely beat any top fighters in his entire career and his last fight was an absolute horrible display. I don't know why the hell anyone would all of the sudden believe that Overeem is some sort of indestructable force. He's a very good fighter, but not even close to being the best fighter in the world.

Overeem is pulling out of the fight because he says he needs more time. September 10 is too soon but October would of been fine with him. He claims it is a nagging toe injury, so he just needs more time.

Alistair needs time to make sure he doesnt fail the drug test. I'd bet 1,000 dollars right on the spot to anyone if I could that Overeem would fail a drug test.

No one's ever said he was an indestructible force. But seeing as he's the K-1 Champ, The DREAM champ and the SF champ id say that's a VERY significant feat no?

I don't think the SF and Dream titles are that massive when he had to beat Buentello, Duffee and Rogers to win and retain them. Half the UFC heavy division would cream those guys.

Accomplishments like that are nice. However, you have to consider who he beat to become Champion in those orgs.

Agreed re: the titles. And no half the UFC division would not cream those guys. Duffee was seen as a serious UFC prospect until he wouldn't step to Dana's beat. And Buentello is a VERY savvy veteran heavy handed striker. granted neither man should have been anywhere near a title but they're hardly tin cans either when you take into account how thin the UFC heavy division is.

Still what Overeems accomplished is very significant and never been done before. He must be respected and given credit for that.

Cheick Kongo would beat the guys Overeem did for the titles.

Don't get me wrong I don't think he beats Overeem but that path to titles is incredibly easy. Brock when he was finished as champ had beaten Randy, Mir and Carwin which is a lot better than those three.

Never felt that Brock was the best in the world. However, I have no idea how you are even going to begin critizing Brock's comp.

FFS, the man only has 7 MMA fights. His wins in the UFC include Herring, Couture, Mir, and Carwin. He then lost his title against Cain Velasquez. It's sad when a guy with only 7 fights has amore accomplished list of top fighters that he defeated than Overeem does. Especially when that fighter is somebody who you crtize so much and trash on every chance you get.

Ahh yes Widdow the model of objectivity. Heath Herring? Really? A 47 year old career light heavyweight? Really? Brock lost to Mir but you knew that right? He was also getting smashed to bits vs Carwin. But you knew that too.

Both you and i know that Overeem would utterly tool Brock. Only you think a fight like that is competitive. If you think Brock has achieved more than Overeem has in his entire career you need your head tested.

Well he convincingly beat Buentello up already. Can't see Rogers beating him in a stand up war and he'd tool Duffee.

You just managed to say absolutely nothing in that entire post. What the hell are you talking about? You are trying to somehow lift up Overeem by going on and on about Brock Lesnar?

BTW, yes..... Brock's list of wins were MUCH, MUCH better than Overeem's list of wins. Your biased opinions on the fighters mean nothing to me. Unlike you, I am able to like fighters from all orgs and talk about all of them rationally. Everybody and their mother knows that you are a UFC hater and hate all things UFC, including the fighters.

I never once said that I felt Brock Lesnar would beat Overeem. I certainly don't think that it's out of the question. I wouldn't have money on Brock in that fight, though. That's for sure. Until he proves that he can round up his game, he is going to be in deep **** against anyone who isn't afraid to stand their ground and let their hands go.

Yes my biased opinions pale into insignificance when compared with the objectivity you show towards wrestlers...... Oh wait a minute......:lol:

Puhlease get off your high horse. Rationale my ass. You don't even know the meaning of the word.
Brock over Overeem? Yeah you have a ton of credibility alright

You keep saying Brock over Overeem... why? I didn't say it. I just said my money wouldn't be on Brock. Are you touched in the head? Or is your argument that weak that you have to make **** up in order to argue a point?

You always talk about my "objectivity toward wrestlers"... yet, once again... you have nothing to back that up.
